Robert grows increasingly guilty as Moira continues to spend time on his farm instead of helping with Cain’s.

Moira senses there’s something odd about Robert’s behaviour and when she pushes for the truth, he confesses about planting the IDs – explaining how Joe blackmailed him over Victoria’s killing of John.

2. Moira is sues an ultimatum

Devastated by Robert’s admission, Moira demands he go to the police and confess or she will. But when Robert tells Aaron about the ultimatum, Aaron rushes to find Moira and beg for her silence.

Moira decides to keep the truth from Cain, ahead of his operation.

Desperate to keep his fiancé from another prison sentence, Aaron reminds Moira that Joe is the villain of the situation.

3. Moira confronts Joe

Furious Moira heads to Home Farm with a shotgun to confront Joe. Graham interrupts but Moira stands her ground, ready to get revenge on Joe for ruining her life.

Meanwhile, as Cain’s surgery approaches, Aaron urges his uncle to reconcile with Moira before he goes into hospital.

4. Cain makes a shock decision

In a special episode exploring Cain and Moira’s relationship, Cain struggles to express his fears, even to best mate Liam.

Moira is distraught that her relationship with Cain is so fractured ahead of his big surgery and confides in Chas.

But when Cain makes a shock decision to cancel his surgery, will his loved ones be able to change his mind? Or will some surprising words of wisdom from Eric make him think differently about the future?

5. Moira confronts Dawn

When Moira spots Dawn on a walk, she can’t help but confront her about Joe, leaving Dawn shaken.

Confused and wanting to find out more, Dawn seeks Moira out and is horrified when Moira explains it was Joe who was responsible for her imprisonment. She begs Moira to tell her everything she knows….

6. Baby Leyla comes home

Sarah and Jacob are overjoyed to bring baby Leyla home as they sign the paperwork to become her official parents.

But things get awkward when Ross and Mackenzie drop by with a gift from Moses, and Ross is reluctant to hold the baby. What will he say when Jacob invites him to their family gathering?

7. Eve is upset by gossip

Eve hears gossip about Paddy’s arrest, forcing him to finally tell her he might have to go to prison for helping her grandad Bear.

As Eve begs him not to go, Mandy impulsively suggests Paddy should let Bear take the blame.

Paddy is disgusted and storms out, but when Mandy reassures her husband that she’s with him all the way, they are reunited.

8. Simo makes a shock return
 

At the prison, Bear is spiralling about the bank accounts the police found, but he and Paddy are stunned when Simo appears. Bear thought he’d been murdered.

Paddy hopes Simo will testify for Bear, but despite his pleading, Simo refuses. Simo is worried about the impact on his own mental health, having to relive his time on Celia’s farm.

9. Paddy contemplates his fate

With the trial looming, Paddy is pessimistic and scared about what the future holds.

Taking a deep breath, he stands in the doorway and admires the village he’s called home for years, wondering if he’s about to spend his last night there.

10. Dr Todd manipulates Vanessa

Despite Jacob finding it awkward to have Dr Todd on his doorstep, his boss makes herself at home playing darts in the pub with Vanessa, Mary and Manpreet.

As the match begins, Dr Todd flirts with Vanessa and starts to sow seeds claiming that Jacob is guilty of inappropriate behaviour. Will anyone notice she’s subtly manipulating them?
