SHOCKING SECRET FOR YOU!!! EastEnders confirms who discovers the truth about Oscar and Josh’s sex secret

The love triangle is a well-worn soap trope, isn’t it? It’s incredibly difficult to put a new spin on it, but EastEnders have undertaken the challenge and managed to make it feel fresh again.

The BBC soap have been developing a heated situation between Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier), his troubled girlfriend, Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) and her twin brother, Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan) and Oscar has found his heart entirely torn in two.

Incredibly promiscuous with an insatiable appetite for intimacy, Oscar put all of that behind him for the sake of Jasmine when she arrived in Walford. Her mysterious ways and reluctance to open up to him while keeping him perennially on his toes kept him hooked, while she secretly enacted her scheme to terrorise her secret birth mum, Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan).

Though he threatened to end things numerous times if she didn’t truly let him in, he always ended crawling back to her. It was evident, though, that she did love Oscar back, her baggage and emotional damage was just too great to allow her to open up fully.

After killing her dad Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey), Jasmine ended up fleeing and, upon her return, was arrested and held on remand. Alone, wounded and desperate for connection, Oscar resumed his promiscuous ways. It was a chance meeting with Josh, though, that changed everything.

Spending the night together after connecting on a level deeper than usual for Oscar, the two arranged to meet the following night, neither aware of the others true identity. When they found out, though, Oscar made the decision to end things immediately, with them both agreeing to keep their night together a secret.

It was clear, though, that this was incredibly painful for both, with a pair of lingering looks and a huge sense of ‘what if?’. With Jasmine’s release from prison and her propensity for cold, hard revenge, though, it seemed wise.

Ever since, Oscar has tried everything to remain apart from Josh, his attraction having faded none, while navigating his reunion with Jasmine. Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) didn’t help when she enlisted him to receive a sensual head massage from Josh in the salon, leading him to bolt.

Next week sees Oscar jammed in-between the twins again, as they bond over a childhood game they’d previously played. With his affection for both twins, Oscar’s discomfort is palpable. When Jasmine learns that Josh played their game with Sandra, she storms off, wounded.

Josh, left wracked with guilt and distress over hurting his twin, is immediately scooped up and comforted by Oscar.

As the heat rises and the two find themselves locked in a charged moment, Oscar breaks away before things can go any further.

The following day, both boys vow to keep their distance to avoid anybody getting hurt, despite the decision clearly hurting them both.

Spotting the evident tension between them, Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) quizzes Oscar on what’s happening, and he confides his feelings in her. At the Albert, Josh entertains a potential suitor, leaving Oscar green with jealousy.

How long can Josh and Oscar resist their growing attraction? And if they do give in to temptation, what does that mean for Oscar and Jasmine?
