SHOCKING NEWS JUST DROPPED! EastEnders’ Max and Cindy to make shock announcement in love triangle plot
EastEnders’ Max Branning and Cindy Beale’s romance seems to be going from strength to strength next week, when the pair decide to move in together. But with feelings of jealousy rising between Max and Linda, is the Square’s serial womaniser as committed to his new love as he’s making out?
“Cindy and Max enjoy a joint birthday bash, looking every inch the loving couple,” begins our Walford insider. “It’s during the party that Max suggests to Cindy that they move in together.
“However, when Cindy happily accepts, she doesn’t realise that Max’s offer is driven by jealousy, after discovering that Linda has slept with someone else…”

It’s been clear since his return to the Square that Max has been keen on reuniting with Linda, the discovery that they share a child together in little Annie further cementing his feelings. And while Linda did waver for a time, she eventually decided that she and Max were better off as co-parents than partners.
Meanwhile, Max and Cindy shared an instant chemistry, sleeping together the very first night they met. The pair’s troubled family history saw them keep their distance, though they recently rekindled their passion, and after a shocking road accident drew them closer, they went public with their romance.
However, it’s clear that Linda might be regretting her decision to ‘friend zone’ Max as she looks jealously on at the couple’s closeness next week. Her mood isn’t improved when a plan to help mend her rift with Johnny falls flat.

Tensions are at fever pitch when Max and Cindy’s party arrive. Max discovers that Linda slept with someone the previous night and it’s clear that he’s rattled. So, he makes a typically Max Branning spur-of-the-moment decision by asking Cindy to move in with him!

“Max is fond of Cindy, and many would say the pair certainly deserve each other,” says our spy. “But while the schemers are well matched, Max does have a history of thinking the grass is always greener when it comes to the woman in his life.

“He was married to his first wife Rachel and ran off with Tanya – but after he married her, he ended up lusting after Stacey Slater. Later he was with Vanessa Gold but wound up back with Tanya on the sly! So, is Max falling back into the same old trap of his own making with Cindy and Linda?”
