Belle’s storyline mirrors Kayce’s in a powerful way. Her past was revealed through her connection to Samantha, her imprisoned mother, and the mining disaster that destroyed her family. Belle became a marshal partly to separate herself from the criminals who raised her, but Episode 10 showed that no one escapes family history cleanly. Kayce may now face the same truth.
