The problem is that Sonny’s imagination is running far wilder than reality. Instead of uncovering some criminal conspiracy, Ric’s secret turns out to be far more personal and surprisingly heartfelt. Ric and Ava have apparently been working together on a romantic surprise for Elizabeth Baldwin. Ric has been planning a special weekend getaway and arranging an artistic gesture for Liz, hoping to repair some of the damage from their deeply complicated history.

Unfortunately, Sonny has already gone too far. He informs ADA Justine Turner that Ric has exhausted his final chance for redemption, and Sonny begins putting together what he believes will be the perfect trap to expose his brother. The situation threatens to become painfully embarrassing once the truth comes out. Sonny is preparing for a mob-style confrontation while Ric is essentially planning romance and reconciliation.

Still, some residents of Port Charles understand why Sonny is suspicious. Ric’s history is filled with manipulation, dangerous obsession, and reckless decisions committed in the name of love. Meanwhile, several people may unknowingly hold the key to saving her. Britt Westbourne already senses that something sinister is happening. Britt has openly warned others about the danger posed by powerful enemies connected to Windermere, and she may soon discover Josslyn’s imprisonment. Since Josslyn once saved Britt during the Hook Killer nightmare, Britt could decide it is finally her turn to return the favor.

There is also the possibility that Lucas Jones stumbles onto the truth accidentally. If Lucas discovers Josslyn locked away at Windermere, the confrontation that follows could turn deadly in seconds.
