RYAN Thomas has hit back saying he’s “good with people” after he was accused of “being rude” to an “old lady” fan who asked him for a selfie.
It seems former Coronation Street star Ryan has garnered quite the “rude” reputation over the past few years as fans claimed they’ve had similar bad experiences.
During an episode of At Home with The Thomas Bros, Adam asked Ryan about his behaviour with fans when they ask for pictures.
The Dancing on Ice alum then opened up on the claims telling Adam he’s “thrown him under the bus.”
Adam said: “You have got a reputation for being quite rude when people ask for pictures.”
Speaking on a specific situation, Ryan said: “There was like two or three people asking for photos. I’m not terrible actually, I’m the same as you.

“I’m good with people but it’s like this girl or guy…”
He was then cut off by Adam, who said: “It was an old lady.”
Ryan continued: “I’m not actually rude though.”
Adam told how the “old lady” asked Ryan for a picture and he said, ”god, go on then.’”

Ryan hit back saying: “She was taking pictures and we both leant in and we did a picture while she was taking the pictures without even asking.”
Scott and Adam defended the “old lady” suggesting she was too nervous to ask for the picture and claimed she was “struggling with her phone.”
Love Island star Scott said: “Cause Ryan’s like an old-school celebrity… You get used to being absolutely pestered all the time even when your working whereas I feel like taking a picture is a non-negotiable.”
Fans rushed to the comments to share their experiences with “rude” Ryan.
One fan penned: “I bumped into him in the ritz years ago.. I can confirm he was rude.”
Another fan wrote: “I was in Ibiza with my family years ago. Noticed him and was like ‘omg’ etc and yes can confirm he was rude.”
A third fan said: “Hahaha I met him at Corrie [the set] and to be fair he was actually really nice lol.”
Meanwhile, a fourth fan added: “I have a photo with Ryan when he was doing his walk from London to Manchester. He was fine.”
