Not long ago, Robert confessed to Moira that he planted the fake identity documents responsible for sending her to prison. He acted under pressure from Joe, who blackmailed him over Victoria’s connection to Jon’s death.

Moira was devastated by Robert’s betrayal but chose not to tell Cain before surgery, fearing the stress and rage could affect his condition.

Now, though, hiding the truth becomes impossible.
