SHOCKING NEWS JUST DROPPED! EastEnders spoilers next week confirm icon’s return and a resident left in danger

EastEnders spoilers for next week reveal explosive scenes as Ian Beale makes a discovery and familiar faces return to Walford, but it’s not smooth sailing.

EastEnders is set for another dramatic week as secrets will be revealed.

Recently, on the BBC soap, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) won the local councillor election by obtaining more votes than his opposition, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe).

The businessman’s victory came at a price after Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) shared an incriminating video of Elaine to deter people from voting her the worthy winner.

Bea has also been using a credit card in Honey’s (Emma Barton) name as she continues to manipulate the Mitchells for a place to stay. But she is about to be caught out.

Despite their political title race, Ian and Elaine shared a kiss on Thursday (May 7), even though he is supposed to be dating Bea.

On Monday (May 11), Ian is ready for his first day in his new role, and Bea causes a huge fuss, but in true Beale style, he is too distracted to pay her any attention.

Later, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) hasn’t forgotten Bea’s actions and riles at Ian as he tries to smooth things over with Elaine.

Bea tells Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) about her plans to move in with Ian, but things go wrong when Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) shows Ian an article in the Gazette naming him as Bea’s husband.

He decides to call off their relationship and is shocked by Bea’s reaction. The situation worsens when he discovers that Bea paid for votes using a fraudulent credit card in Honey’s name, and he heads to No.18 to confront her.

Bea desperately tries to cover her tracks whilst Honey orders Ian to leave, but, realising she is out of options, Bea confesses.

Later, Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Ian, Linda and Elaine meet at The Vic to discuss the situation, but Ian is adamant that Honey shouldn’t call the police, as he secretly fears her actions could jeopardise his position.

Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) orders Bea out of their house, leaving her homeless. In response, Bea tampers with Billy’s ladder – but who gets hurt?

Patrick Trueman returns

There is a family reunion in store when Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) returns to Walford and takes his loved ones to The Queen Vic for a drink.

The pensioner tries to talk to his granddaughter, Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness), but she is deflated when he tells her he doesn’t trust her and that their relationship will take time.

Will Patrick connect with Jasmine after she killed his son, Anthony, in an act of self-defence?

Eddie Knight arrives

There’s another return in store next week when Eddie Knight (Christopher Fairbank) moves in with his family, as he is dying from cancer.

It’s the day of Ivy’s Ghanaian naming ceremony, but Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) has other things on her mind. She has a secret meeting with Eddie’s prison officer at No.1, though son Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) walks in and is stunned by what he overhears.

With the truth closing in, Nicola tells George that bringing Eddie back is the right move, though she keeps quiet about the financial incentive.

George Knight (Colin Salmon) initially refuses, but eventually relents and agrees to let Eddie stay in the basement flat. He is unaware that Eddie is bribing Nicola with money.

Their decision sparks outrage when Eddie arrives mid-ceremony, setting off tensions within the family. He raises the stakes, telling Nicola she won’t see a penny unless he’s allowed to move upstairs into the main house.

Will Eddie get what he wants? Will George find out the truth about Nicola taking his money?
