THE COBBLES ARE STAINED WITH BL0OD! CORONATION STREET FINALLY REVEALS WHO D..IED AS THE SHOW GOES DARK TONIGHT 🗡️ 🌑 🚨

Coronation Street fans who prefer their daily dose of cobbles drama first thing in the morning via ITVX and YouTube are likely wondering where Friday’s (May 1) edition of the ITV soap is, with it not having surfaced on streaming platforms.
The long-running TV soap is in the middle of a high-octane week of special episodes, centred around five characters and, come the end of said episodes, one will die.
The death in question was teased earlier in the year via a flashforward sequence, which saw Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) scream in terror upon discovering a dead body.
The potential victim is one of the following: Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn), Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon), Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard), and Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown).

Each of the aforementioned characters have taken centre stage in one of this week’s offerings, showcasing what they got up to – or were involved in – on the date of April 23, which will prove the last day on earth for one of them.
Who dies will be revealed in the final outing of the week but if you’re scratching your head wondering where exactly the fifth episode of Murder Week is after a browse online, we’re here to tell you all you need to know about if it’s on and where to find it.
Is Coronation Street on tonight as ITV soap confirms who dies?
Yes, Coronation Street is on tonight (Friday, May 1). The episode, however, is being held back from streaming platforms ITVX and YouTube – where episodes typically drop at 7am daily – until after it broadcasts on TV so that audiences can watch the dramatic scenes unfold together the good old fashioned way.
Coronation Street confirmed the absence of an early release this morning, with the soap’s official social media account writing on X: ‘We aren’t on ITVX and YouTube this morning, we’re a spoiler free zone.
‘So make sure you catch us at 8.30pm tonight #Corrie.’

The news was received well by fans, who branded the decision ‘great’. X user Thomas wrote: ‘nothing better than watching Corrie live with other fans at the same time, no risk of spoilers,’ while Alison said they’re ‘glad’ ITV are not ‘showing it early’.
We’re keeping tight-lipped on the drama of tonight but what we can tell you is that the wider Weatherfield community may never be the same again and with several characters facing an uncertain fate, Betsy discovers a corpse.
