OMG SHOCKING!!! Startling new murder evidence stuns Lisa and Kit in Coronation Street
There’s been a murder in Coronation Street, which means DS Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) and DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) are about to dedicated a great deal of their time to finding out who committed the crime.
This week’s episodes of the ITV soap have focused on the five potential suspects – Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard), Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown), Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) and Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn).
It’s the all-important instalment tonight, as we’ll finally discover who the dead body belongs to.
While Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) plays a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse to outsmart Theo, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) finds herself caught in the middle with terrifying consequences.
Elsewhere, a web of lies starts to unravel for Megan, and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) gets caught in the crossfire of a home invasion.
Also, Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) takes matters into his own hands on a desolate ground. The community is left reeling in the aftermath – and Kit and Lisa are determined to find answers.
Next week, while Kit begins a series of tense interrogations, the pathologist’s report soon turns what appeared to be a tragic ending into a murder investigation.
Swain then steps in for her questioning, but inconsistencies in someone’s story start to emerge – leading to an arrest.
The next day, the mystery surrounding the trashed living room at Number 8 takes a sinister turn. Kit then reveals the blood at the scene belongs to more than one person, and Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) is left haunted by the news.
As a resident is still being held for questioning, those closest to the suspect begin to struggle to come to terms with it.
Later on, a piece of forensic evidence appears that leaves Lisa and Kit convinced that they’re a step away from a breakthrough.
As the aftermath continues, the pressure begins to mount for one couple. When a suspicious partner demands the truth behind a sudden change in behaviour, Kit and Lisa conduct another interrogation.
