The Sun has contacted a rep for Samantha for comment.

Sam and Oliver, who played Dales killer John Sugden and previously starred as Andy Carver in Coronation Street began dating in 2021 following the end of her marriage to actor Mark Womack.

Samantha first met Mark, 65, on the set of Liverpool 1 in 1998. They got married 2009 and share children Benjamin and Lili-Rose.

They separated in 2020 but remain friends, and Mark was happy when Sam found love with Oliver, 43.

The actress grew close to the former Corrie hunk while starring opposite him in the 2019 stage adaptation of thriller The Girl On The Train.

A source said in 2021: “Samantha’s chemistry with Oliver was clear to see on stage and they remained close after the production.

Oliver was killed off on the cobbles in 2017 in a very dark exit storyline.

Villain Pat Phelan shot his character dead and dumped his body in a lake after Andy, who Phelan had held hostage in an abandoned house, refused to kill the murderer’s former business partner Vinny Ashford.

Oliver then became the killer when he joined Emmerdale in 2024 as Jack Sugden’s long lost son.

His disturbed character had a hero complex and killed Nate Robinson with medication in a failed bid to save him from its effects.
