Sneak peek photos for the May 12 episode of Days of our Lives tease that Gabi turns to Philip after the chaos at Stefano’s will reading. While her mother spends time with Philip, Ari ignores her wishes and enjoys a special moment with Liam.

The Hernandez Women Never Give Up
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) returns to the Kiriakis mansion, where she talks with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). The look on the latter’s face in a couple of images hints that Philip is in disbelief at what he is hearing.
There is a good chance Gabi is filling him in on Lexie (Nikki Crawford) suddenly coming back from the dead. However, other photos reveal a look of concern, perhaps sadness, on Philip’s face, which means Gabi must tell him something else, too.
Whatever they talk about leads them to have a special moment. Philip not only pulls Gabi into a kiss in one photo, but he also holds her in another. It’s pretty clear there are real feelings between Gabi and Philip, which means heartbreak looms.
After all, Gabi is the one who told Tony (Thaao Penghlis) about Philip’s forged letter that undid the DiMera-Titan merger, putting Titan in the tough financial spot it is in now.
Despite her mother’s sterm warnings to stay away from Liam (Hank Northrop), Ari (Vico Escorcia), like Gabi, does exactly what she wants, which is to see Liam. Ari finds him at Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) bookstore.
Liam doesn’t seem to be thrilled to see Ari in one photo. However, his mood changes no doubt due to Ari’s persistence. In another photo, Liam has a grin on his face and seems nearly happy.
The final sneak peek photo hints that Ari and Liam are nearing their first kiss, and it just might happen in the episode. Spoilers for DAYS tease that Ari opens up to Liam, which could be what has him making a change of heart in the pictures.
Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday,finally give Gabi a good reason to freak out. She learns that Ari never arrived at the lake and that she and Holly are missing.

The first night Ari (Marissa Reyes) came home, she snuck out. And Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) freaked. That was a bit over the top. Now, however, when Gabi learns that Ari and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) failed to report for their class trip—or meet up with Tate (Leo Howard)—she has much better reason to call out the cavalry.
Which usually involves big brother Rafe (Galen Gering) as her first port of call. And Gabi doesn’t even know yet that Ari and Holly are being held at gunpoint by the thug to whom Doug (Peyton Meyer) owes money.
Tate, however, is pretty sure that if his girlfriend is in trouble, it must be Doug’s fault. (He’s right this time, but it’s still his go-to.) So Tate stomps off to confront his nemesis. Which we can only imagine will make everything worse.
Story Time
Tate is so busy worrying about Holly that he completely forgets Sophia (Rachel Boyd), the mother-to-be (he thinks) of his child. This is why he missed Sophia giving birth and giving away their son.
Sophia’s mother is less negligent. This is why Sophia cooked up a plan with Melinda (Tina Huang) to tell Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) to claim she gave birth out of town and handed her daughter straight over to her adoptive parents. So we can all move on now, right?
Johnny (Carson Boatman) is going on trial for shooting EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). EJ doesn’t want him to be convicted. So he is determined to pick just the right jury for his trial.
Belle (Martha Madison) doesn’t want her nephew convicted either. But she is the District Attorney. So she has to be a lot more subtle about her jury tampering….
Gabi and Philip are soaring to wonderful new heights on Days of Our Lives as she moves into the Kiriakis mansion with Philip and they build a wonderful new life together. At least until he finds out she’s the reason Titan’s barely hanging on and the whole thing falls apart. But hey, by the time that happens, it could be the least of Gabi’s worries — if Ari ends up pregnant!
It’s been about two weeks since we’ve seen Ari, parting with Liam with a lingering kiss, but she’s back on our screens as of Wednesday. And as we all know by now,Vico Escorcia has taken over the role and will be the one to (possibly) make nice with Holly. Whether or not that happens, we know the relationship between Ari and Liam is just going to keep building.
As Hank Northrop told Michael Fairman in an interview, Ari and Liam are in the middle of a “slow burn. It’s a slow build.” They didn’t meet and hop into bed together, but yes, Liam is “super infatuated with her.”
But, he added, “We’ll see as it progresses where it goes, because [in a] soap, you can’t just have a completely happy relationship and there be no drama!”
Well, that could lead anywhere, but after Days of Our Lives posted a getting to know you video with Escorcia, now we can only think of one direction: Baby drama!
The actress shared some fun facts about herself, like the fact that she’s half Mexican and half French, so she’s fluent in Spanish, English and French. And she also just adopted a puppy! And the third fact?
“Out of the last 10 characters I’ve played,” she shared, “seven have gotten pregnant at some point. I know all of the bellies, so Ari, watch out!”
Oop! We know, it’s just a tongue-in-cheek tease, but can you imagine Gabi’s reaction?
We can already see the protective mom flipping out when she finds out who Liam really is and what he’s done as he and Ari get closer. And if her daughter ended up pregnant… with Liam‘s kid? We can’t think of much more drama than that — especially if it’s happening as Gabi and Philip implode and she and Theo get closer. You know, one of the DiMeras that Liam not only helped (inadvertently) kidnap, but also bullied when they were younger?
Oh, Grandma Gabi would have a few words to say about that. But hey, not all of Escorcia’s characters have ended up pregnant, so hey, Ari could still make it through college without a baby bump. Fingers crossed! (If for no other reason than to avoid her mother’s wrath!)
