Patrick Trueman Rejects Jasmine Fisher’s Offering

The legendary Patrick Trueman returns to Albert Square next week after his temporary stay in Trinidad. For now, the Trueman patriarch feels refreshed after having a gruelling year. But his arrival will for sure bring emotional turmoil for his granddaughter.

We were aware that Jasmine Fisher was recently acquitted of her biological father’s murder.  However, she soon realises that a legal ‘not guilty’ verdict will not automatically give her family’s forgiveness. When Patrick arrives, he prioritises his family by taking them to the Queen Vic to celebrate his homecoming.

Despite Jasmine becoming a part of the Stalter household, the atmosphere is still icy between her and the Truemans. Elsewhere, Yolande thought that a sit-down conversation might mend fences. However, the homecoming king has other ideas.

Later, during a private chat, Patrick admits to the young woman that he simply does not trust her yet. After which, Jasmine is heartbroken as she desperately hoped to ‘reconcile’ with her grandfather.
