DANIELLE BREAKS SILENCE! THEO’S DARKEST SECRET REVEALED AFTER HIS TRAGIC D.E.A.T.H! 🕯️

Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) may be dead, but the monster continues to haunt Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) when his ex-wife, Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) returns to the Cobbles.

Last week, Todd’s year long nightmare finally came to an end… or so we thought.

After his abusive ex-boyfriend cornered him in their flat, Todd managed to escape with the help of George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley). However, he couldn’t escape Theo for long, and soon found himself face to face with the raging narcissist in a nail biting cobbles showdown.

A deadly game of cat and mouse ensued, with a petrified Todd hiding from his psychopathic former partner… which ended with Theo mysteriously turning up dead on the Street, his body found by a hysterical Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin).

Unfortunately for Todd, now there’s a murder investigation kicking off on the Cobles led by DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), and as the victim of Theo’s consistent yearlong campaign of violent abuse, he’s got one heck of a motive…

So the last thing Todd needs right now is a visit from Theo’s ex, Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson).

During Danielle’s previous visits to the Cobbles, she and Todd got off one the wrong foot – mainly because Theo came out as gay and ended their marriage to be with Todd.

This was a particularly messy split, since the couple had two children together, Miles and Millie. Needless to say, Danielle did not take it well and even had a brief fling with Todd’s brother Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) just to humiliate her ex in front of his new boyfriend.

Danielle’s next visit to the Cobbles was no more pleasant. When Todd’s bestie Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) started to suspect that her friend was a victim of domestic violence, she arranged to meet with Danielle and asked her directly if Theo ever hit her when they were married.

This did not go well. Danielle reacted badly and was highly offended to be asked such a personal question by a total stranger. Unfortunately Sarah didn’t have time to pursue the line of questioning, as they were interrupted by Theo and Todd.

Despite Danielle’s outrage of Sarah’s suggestions that she was with a violent man, it is interesting to note that she never explicitly denied it…

Now we will see why, in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, when the appearance of Theo’s ex gives Todd a new insight into his toxic abuser…

On the street, Danielle approaches and asks to talk to Todd about Theo.

In a surprising moment of vulnerability, Danielle admits she knows first hand what Theo can be like.
