BOOMSHELL NEWS!!! Coronation Street sparks fly as a massage turns passionate

Love, lies, and unexpected chemistry are the focus next week in Coronation Street as things are heating up with a steamy massage until an awkward interruption brings everything crashing back to reality.

It all begins innocently enough as George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) calls round and stumbles across Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) and Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) mid-plank challenge.

The pair are playful, but the mood quickly switches when Todd casually mentions that James Bailey (Jason Callender) recently popped round.

Theo’s frosty reaction doesn’t go unnoticed as George picks up on the shift in a mood and starts to wonder whether there’s more going on beneath the surface than Theo or Todd is letting on.

Later, after a run together, Todd and Theo cool down with what begins as a friendly massage, but things soon start intensifying as the moment turns unexpectedly intimate.

Things become passionate, and the pair get lost in the heat of the moment, but suddenly they’re interrupted once again by none other than George, whose sudden arrival puts a halt to the blossoming romance.

Things have been far from smooth sailing lately for the pair, with Theo struggling with his past and worried about distancing himself from his children.

Theo’s daughter Millie has also not made things easy by injecting herself into the pair’s relationship with the goal of getting her dad to come home.

Will Todd and Theo pick up where they left off before George interrupted them?

Coronation Street fans are set to be left fearing for the safety of Todd Grimshaw in the coming week.

In upcoming episodes, the hugely popular ITV soap will deliver a dramatic whodunnit, with spoilers revealing that viewers will be transported back to the day of the murder, showing each potential victim’s movements in the lead-up to the fateful events.

Coronation Street has already unveiled the identities of the five possible murder victims – Megan Walsh, Theo Silverton, Maggie Driscoll, Jodie Ramsey and Carl Webster.

Spoilers for next week disclose that the cobbles will revisit Carla Connor and Lisa Swain’s wedding, with the first four episodes beginning at the moment the two brides arrive at Underworld for the reception. Each visit to the cobbles will trace the potential final day in the life of one of the possible murder victims.

Rounding off the week, Friday’s episode will draw all the storylines together, culminating in fireworks illuminating the sky to mark Swarla’s union, alongside Betsy’s chilling discovery of a body belonging to one of Weatherfield’s residents, reports

Among the spoilers for the coming week is a deeply concerning update involving Todd and Theo Silverton. Theo has been subjecting partner Todd to abuse for several months, even manipulating him into marriage last month in a troubling turn of events.

Only last week, Theo attempted to flee to Belfast with Todd as his controlling and violent behaviour began unravelling on the cobbles. When Todd refused to leave after discovering Theo may have been behind Billy Mayhew’s death in the Corriedale crash, Theo locked him in their bedroom before launching a brutal attack as Todd tried to get away.

Todd courageously reported Theo to the police and has been making arrangements to visit his mum, Eileen, and brother, Jason, in Thailand.

According to spoilers for next week, Todd is left horrified when Theo turns up at the shop flat with his packed suitcase, ready for Thailand. Fortunately, George Shuttleworth arrives just in the nick of time, and the two manage to overpower Theo and break free from the flat.

Shortly afterwards, Todd and George report Theo to DC Kit Green, but there is no trace of him at the flat. Desperate to get away, Todd jumps in a cab bound for the airport, only to realise he’s left his phone behind, forcing him to stop and go back for it.

But as he makes his way back down the street, he comes face-to-face with Theo, who is clutching the phone. Just how far will Todd go to finally rid himself of the menacing Theo?

In spoilers for later in the week, it emerges that Todd engages in a perilous game of cat-and-mouse to outwit a vengeful Theo, but poor old Summer Spellman finds herself caught in the crossrun with terrifying consequences.
