🚨 BREAKING: THEO’S EXIT IS FINALLY “CONFIRMED” AS SUMMER STUMBLES UPON A BL0ODY SECRET THAT WILL HAUNT WEATHERFIELD FOREVER! 🛑💀

Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) is very aware time is running out for him in Coronation Street, and has now plotted to leave the cobbles a lot sooner than Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) expected.
All of Todd’s loved ones now know that Theo has been abusing him, but are struggling to actually help Todd due to him being unable to escape his now-husband’s clutches.
Terrified all of the time, Todd recently tried to show Theo how much he means to him by agreeing to move to Belfast. Theo hates living in Weatherfield because he’s surrounded by people who know the truth about him, and Todd constantly wants to appease Theo because he knows what will happen if he doesn’t.
After a very awkward and tense interaction with Theo and Todd yesterday, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) updated Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins), George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby).

Meanwhile, Gary Windass (Mikey North) was at the builder’s yard reminding Theo that he needed to remove the rest of his belongings. When topic of conversation turned to him being an abuser, Theo pointed out that it cannot be true, because his ex-wife hasn’t ever said anything.
With the group desperate to save Todd, Gary had an idea.
Sarah met with Theo’s ex-partner Danielle (Natalie Anderson) and asked if he had ever been violent. Danielle was outraged, and told Theo what Sarah said when he wandered in moments later.
Back at the flat, Todd was relieved when it became clear that Theo wasn’t going to take his anger out on him over Sarah’s interference. Instead, he claimed that the paperwork for the job in Belfast has been sorted, so they can leaver sooner.

While Todd processed this, Summer was outside learning some pretty important information from Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard).
Summer now knows that Carl was driving the car that impacted how Corriedale played out in January. At the moment, she believes his actions led to Billy Mayhew’s (Daniel Brocklebank) death.

Irritated, Carl put her straight and said she needs to look closer to home if she wants to find out what really happened to Billy.
Todd’s friends are aware he isn’t safe with Theo, but no-one has contemplated that he might be capable of murdering someone.
Will Summer get to the truth in time?
Or will Theo and Todd leave before he’s caught?
Coronation Street is set to reveal Theo Silverton’s big secret next week amid his romance storyline with Todd Grimshaw.
The two characters appear to have been forming a connection since Theo’s recent arrival on the cobbles, though the newcomer has been giving mixed signals.
However, in scenes airing this week, the two will spend the afternoon in bed together after sharing a passionate kiss.
While Theo admits he fancies Todd, he later tells him he wants to take a low-key approach as his life is complicated. After rushing out, Todd is later left baffled when Theo goes cold on him again.
In follow-on scenes due to air on Monday (April 7), Theo goes up to Todd on the street and apologises for his behaviour, reaffirming that he really likes him. Todd then decides to invite Theo back to the house.

Later on, Theo arrives at Shuttleworths to arrange a funeral, which takes Todd aback, and he’s further shocked when he learns Theo’s secret.
What has he discovered?
Todd tells Billy about what was revealed when he gets back home, Billy suggesting that he steer clear of his new romantic interest.

Theo later knocks on the back door, angering Billy – but will he speak his mind after learning Theo’s secret?
Downton Abbey‘s James Cartwright was recently cast as Theo and teased what fans could expect from his scaffolder character.
“I think Theo is a good guy, he comes in with the best of intentions, as most people do, but he may upset some people with his behaviour,” he said.
