This article contains spoilers for tonight’s (April 22) Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on YouTube and ITVX.

Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) has been left utterly sickened after a confrontation with predator Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) in recent Coronation Street scenes.

The entire Driscoll family was rocked to its core when Megan’s abuse of youngest son Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) was exposed earlier this year.

Sports coach Megan had been grooming student Will, with the teen believing that they were in a consensual relationship. Things escalated on his 16th birthday when Megan slept with him.

Megan managed to keep her vile secret for months, until Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) caught on to what was going on and eventually told Eva and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) everything.

Since then, the Driscolls and Battersbys have been determined to find proof of Megan’s abuse so that she can be made to face justice, but with Will insisting that nothing happened, they have had a hard time.

In tonight’s episode, Eva came up with a plan to force Megan to confess.

Having found the burner phone Will had been using to contact Megan, Eva sent a text posing as Will, asking her to meet him.

When Eva, Leanne and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) arrived at the meeting point, they found Megan waiting, though she tried to play it off as though she’d just been passing by.

In the confrontation that followed, Eva failed to get Megan to admit why she was really there and was frustrated when her phone didn’t ring when she called the number on the burner phone.

When Eva and Leanne wrestled her for the phone, Megan called out for help, leaving them with no choice but to abandon their mission.

However, it wasn’t totally for nothing, as Eva had managed to drop a tracker into Megan’s bag.

Things only got worse when Eva was cautioned by police for assaulting Megan, but she was still determined to get to the truth – and it didn’t take long.

Megan approached her on the street later in the evening and took great pleasure in goading her by admitting how much she had enjoyed her time with Will.

Eva showed great restraint, but she was clearly disgusted by Megan’s admission.

With Megan in the firing line for next week’s murder week, could she be the one to meet her maker – and could Eva be the one to finish her off?

There’s explosive drama ahead on Coronation Street as Eva finally takes matters into her own hands and comes face-to-face with Megan in a showdown that turns physical.

The tension kicks off when Kit arrives at the Rovers with huge news. Breaking it to Ben, Eva and Maggie, he reveals that the CPS has dropped the case against Megan due to a lack of evidence. While the family are left stunned and frustrated, Megan wastes no time in making her next move, clearly determined to stay one step ahead.

Meeting up with Will, she shares the news and drops another bombshell. She’s already booked their tickets to Paris. Will is delighted, completely taken in by Megan’s version of events, and even gifts her a guidebook as they excitedly plan their future together. For Megan, it’s the perfect opportunity to start over, but for those back in Weatherfield, alarm bells are ringing.

Back at the Rovers, emotions run high as Ollie lashes out at Ben, accusing him of failing to protect Will. Ben struggles under the pressure as the situation spirals further out of control. Maggie steps in, urging Eva to act before things go too far, warning that Ben could make a decision he’ll regret forever if pushed any further.

Determined not to let Megan win, Eva decides to fight back, but she knows she’ll need more than just accusations to bring her down.

After taking advice from Leanne, Eva searches Will’s room and makes a crucial discovery: a burner phone with just one contact saved. Convinced it’s the key to exposing Megan, Leanne encourages her to send a message pretending to be Will and set up a meeting. It’s a risky move, but one that could finally catch Megan out and reveal the truth.

As the plan unfolds, the tension builds. Will Megan fall for it, or has she already covered her tracks?

Eva, Leanne and Toyah head out together to confront Megan, and what starts as a tense exchange quickly erupts into chaos. The women confront her about the phone and her manipulation, but Megan refuses to back down. The situation escalates rapidly, spilling into a physical scuffle that leaves all three women shaken.

In a dramatic moment, Megan is left collapsed on the pavement as Eva, Leanne and Toyah flee the scene, the reality of what’s just happened beginning to sink in. It’s a shocking turning point that shows just how far things have gone, and how dangerous the situation has become.

But Eva hasn’t just relied on confrontation alone.

Back at the pub, she reveals her secret weapon. During the chaos, she managed to plant a tracking device in Megan’s bag. It’s a bold and calculated move, giving her the upper hand as Megan continues to plan her escape.
