BREAKING NEWS!! Robert and Aaron tested to the max in Emmerdale video as they rush to save Moira
Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) guilt became too much for him to handle in Emmerdale this evening, as he finally told Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) about helping to frame Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb).
At the start of 2026, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) obtained video footage of Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) covering up John Sugden’s (Oliver Farnworth) murder. Amid his attempt to secure the Sugden farmland, Joe told Robert and Vic to hand it over for free, or he’d tell the police about how John really died.
He then found some ID cards in Celia’s farmhouse and got Robert to plant them at Butler’s Farm. Joe used the video of Vic to his advantage again, telling Robert that he’d just report his sister if he didn’t help.
Robert planted the passports, leading to Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) arrest. At the time, Robert had no idea that Celia was responsible for drug dealing, human trafficking and modern day slavery, and was horrified to discover he had assisted in making it look as though Moira played a part in Celia’s operation.

Because no-one can actually find any evidence that proves Moira is innocent, she decided to tell Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) this week that she intends to plead guilty at her hearing. Losing all hope, Moira knew that if she pleaded guilty, there’d be a higher chance of her being released before Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir) reaches adulthood.
Aaron was informed of this and then updated Robert, who felt awful. He plotted with Ross Barton (Michael Parr) to try and expose Joe in this evening’s episode, but their plan went awry due to Ross being well, Ross, and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) catching Robert.
Overhearing Ross talk about Robert owing him money meant Aaron quickly discovered his boyfriend’s secret about the IDs.

Much to Robert’s relief, Aaron confirmed he wasn’t going to tell anyone what he had done, but stated that they need to work together to find new evidence to help Moira.
Next week the lads will eventually discover the storage unit in Hotten, which we briefly saw a few days ago.
The twist is teased in this new video, which sees Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) confirm Ray’s old car number place traces back to that all-important unit.
It takes them a bit of time to actually find the right one, but in the end Robert, Aaron, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) make their discovery.
