🚨 LIVES ON THE LINE: THE LETHAL HUNT FOR JODIE’S DARK SECRETS PUTS SHONA IN THE D.E.A.D.L.Y CROSSHAIRS OF OLIVIA’S RUTHLESS HENCHMEN! 😱🔥

Coronation Street drama ramped up tonight (Wednesday, April 22) as Olivia’s risky mission against Jodie took a dangerous turn – and it’s Shona who could end up paying the price.

After crashing at the Platts’, Olivia wasted no time putting her plan into action. Keen to track down her dad’s missing hard drive, she set her sights firmly on Jodie – and it didn’t take long before things started to spiral.

Making herself comfortable over breakfast, Olivia told Jodie Ramsey she’d be skipping school, claiming the distance made it pointless. But it quickly became clear she had other priorities.

Trying to soften Jodie up, Olivia leaned into nostalgia, asking about one of their old favourite treats and hoping to distract her. It worked – at least briefly. Jodie agreed to head to the shop for ingredients, leaving Olivia alone in the house.

But Jodie wasn’t completely convinced. Moments later, she returned and caught Olivia red-handed, rifling through her belongings.

Tensions rose instantly as Olivia admitted she was searching for her dad’s hard drive, convinced Jodie had taken it. Jodie wasn’t budging though, and quickly showed her the door.

Outside, Olivia climbed into a waiting car with two men. When they pressed her for answers, she admitted she hadn’t managed to get hold of the hard drive – but it was clear this situation was far from over.

And things are only set to get worse next week, as Jodie’s connection to Olivia’s family lands her in serious trouble – dragging an unsuspecting Shona into the chaos.

As Jodie prepares to quietly leave Weatherfield, everything changes in an instant. Hearing Shona’s screams, she rushes outside to a terrifying scene – two men are grabbing her sister. It soon becomes clear Shona isn’t the intended target. Jodie is.

With no time to weigh her options, Jodie is forced into a desperate decision. To save Shona, she hands over the hard drive.

Shaken but grateful, Shona thanks her sis ter and offers her somewhere to stay, sensing how distressed she is. For a moment, it looks like the pair might finally be turning a corner.

But the calm doesn’t last. When Jodie realises Shona lied about never receiving her letter, old wounds resurface fast. Hurt quickly turns to anger, and Jodie decides she’s had enough. This time, she’s out for revenge – and she’s determined to drive a wedge between Shona and David by tearing their marriage apart.

Before long, Jodie is back out on the Street, alone and reeling from how badly everything has unraveled. Sitting on the swings, she’s deep in thought about what comes next.

She doesn’t stay alone for long though. When someone approaches her out of the blue, Jodie is left completely shaken. Whether it’s someone from her past or a brand new threat, one thing’s certain – her troubles are far from finished.

In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Wednesday, April 22), Olivia was caught by Jodie trying to find a hard drive that belonged to her dad.

After staying at the Platts’ for the night, Olivia convinced Jodie to head to the shop so that she had time to snoop around the house alone.

However, her quest to find her dad’s stolen hard drive is about to throw an innocent Shona into huge danger.

Today on the cobbles, Olivia made herself at home at the Platts’ as she tucked into some breakfast while telling Jodie that she wasn’t going to school as it was so far away that she’d be late.

Olivia then tried to butter Jodie up with memories of the past, asking her if she could make her their old favourite treat before she was sent back home.

Jodie agreed to head to the shop for the ingredients while Olivia stayed in the house alone, but she had her suspicions and quickly popped her head around the door to find Olivia snooping through her things.

The situation then got tense as Olivia explained she was looking for her dad’s hard drive. She knew that Jodie had taken it.

Jodie then sent Olivia packing, refusing to hand over the item. The schoolgirl then left the house, returning to a car with two men inside. When they asked her if she’d secured the goods, Olivia told them it just wasn’t possible. But, this wouldn’t be the last of it

Next week in Weatherfield, it seems that Jodie’s messy involvement with Olivia’s family comes at a cost for oblivious sister Shona.

Just as Jodie is all set to slip out of Weatherfield, things take a sudden and frightening turn. She hears Shona screaming and rushes outside. She then finds her being grabbed by two men. It doesn’t take long to realise Shona isn’t their real target. They’re after Jodie. With no time to think and the situation escalating fast, Jodie makes a snap decision. She must hand over the hard drive in order to save her sister.

Shaken by everything that’s just happened, Shona thanks Jodie and, seeing how upset she is, offers her a place to stay. For a brief moment, it looks like the sisters might finally be finding some common ground. But the fragile peace doesn’t last. When Jodie discovers that Shona lied about not receiving her letter, her emotions quickly shift from hurt to anger. Deciding she’s been wronged one too many times, Jodie sets her sights on revenge – and plans to drive a wedge between Shona and David by breaking up their marriage.

Before long, Jodie finds herself back out on the Street, alone and frustrated that everything has spiralled so badly. Heading to the swings, she’s left dwelling on her next move. But she’s not alone for long. When someone suddenly approaches her, Jodie is completely thrown. Whether it’s a face from her past or a new enemy she’s made, one thing’s clear – trouble isn’t done with her yet.

What else happened in Coronation Street tonight?

Hotel flooded, wedding off

Carl Webster’s revenge on Debbie caused the hotel to flood. Yes, this then meant that sadly Carla and Lisa’s wedding venue was no more.

With bridezilla Carla upset and cancelling the wedding cake order (and the whole wedding), Lisa teamed up with Ryan to save the day. They just might need to scale things back slightly.

Eva planted a tracking device on Megan

Eva teamed up with Leanne and Toyah to meet Megan, trying to find her burner phone.

While she ended up failing at her plan, she did then succeed in planting a tracking device in Megan’s bag.

Later on, Megan got Eva alone and told her in a roundabout way that she’d slept with Will and ‘enjoyed every second’ of it. Gross.

Todd’s off to Thailand

While Theo was busy trying to reconnect with son Miles and failing (thanks to Carl Webster’s input), Todd was also ready to flee his abusive husband by booking a trip to visit Jason and Eileen in Thailand. And, he was taking George’s wash bag with him for the journey too.

Maggie vs Melanie

Will’s mum Melanie rocked up on the Street after being summoned by Ollie. Maggie wasn’t best pleased to see Ben’s ex though, with Melanie furious that they’d let Megan groom Will.

And, Will also wasn’t too chuffed to see his mum (just to add to the awkward situation).
