Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) world continues to crumble in Emmerdale as the pressure of his prostate cancer diagnosis and his dark feelings of failure over the loss of Butler’s Farm continue to weigh heavily on him.
After a pre-op appointment, Cain is talked into a support group by Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill), though his emotions get the better of him, and after a clash with Sam Dingle (James Hooton), he seeks solace in the arms of his ex, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). Is he about to make everything worse?
The feud between Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) and Kim Tate (Claire King) shows no signs of slowing down, and when Kim hires Ross Barton (Michael Parr) as glorified security, how will Graham strike back?

Monday, March 23
As the war between she and Graham rages on, Kim employs Ross as her ‘director of operations’, a glossy term for ‘security guard’. Ross and Graham butt heads almost immediately as they size each other up.
Joe continues to needle at Robert and Aaron by selling their herd of cattle, while Mackenzie and Matty work as double agents, revealing the information to Sam. Despite his exhaustion, Cain, returning from his pre-op meeting, is determined that the Dingle Farm will be a success.
When Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) summons Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) into Caleb Milligan’s (William Ash) office and lays into her verbally in an attempt to ensure their fling remains secret, Kerry is furious.
Tuesday, March 24
Cain attends a prostate cancer support group at Sarah’s urging, but storms away when a fellow member complains about the state of his relationship after his diagnosis, his anxieties overcoming him.
When Sam misses a meeting about farm machinery later after Mackenzie reports that they can’t afford a full herd, he bares the brunt of Cain’s raw emotion.
Meanwhile, Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) is wracked with guilt when Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) confronts her about the house move and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) tries to get into Kim’s head over her feelings for Graham.
Wednesday, March 25
Charity chases a furious Cain in a special two-hander episode focussing solely on them.
As she presses him to look after his health while he fires back whiskey, he lashes out and breaks Zak’s (Steve Halliwell) tankard.
As Cain finally crumbles and admits that he feels a failure for not holding Moira’s life together while she’s in prison, he attempts to kiss Charity after they reminisce.
Thursday, March 26
There’s a classic Dingle caper, when a hooded intruder breaks into Emmerdale Farm, while Robert and Aaron are shaken when a panicked Matty informs them that a herd of cows has gone missing.
Joe and Graham head out to solve the case and accuse the Dingle’s, who deny any knowledge, as a smug Belle leads the herd up a country road. Panicked when Cain tells her that a tracker has been left on the bull, Joe races to find them, but finds himself intercepted by a decoy.
