NO ONE SAW THIS COMING! The Jaw-Dropping Ben And Steve Outcome That Just Changed EVERYTHING! 😱🔥🤯
Coronation Street has aired a surprising twist in the Steve McDonald and Ben Driscoll storyline, after it was revealed that Maggie had a fling with Jim back in the day, and that the two are half-brothers.
In today’s episode, Ben hadn’t been sleeping as he had spent the night looking up myotonic dystrophy, telling Eva that he can’t believe “something I can’t even pronounce might kill me”.
When Maggie walked in, he had a go at her for not telling him as soon as she knew that his dad had an inherited muscle condition, but her only reply was “I’m not a doctor”.
Ben wasn’t impressed, telling her that he wasn’t surprised she had lied to him as it comes easy to her. He later went to the Bistro to avoid his family and hit the booze, when Steve turned up.
Behind the bar, Toyah Battersby made a comment about it being “nice to see you two palling up”, and Ben started to get annoyed at the thought the news had travelled that quickly. However, she just meant about them both being Rovers landlords at different times.

Steve asked Ben if he knew about the dystrophy, and Ben said he did but wasn’t in the mood to talk about it.
Steve tried to lighten the mood by saying that he didn’t have it so it’s not a “foregone conclusion” that Ben will develop it, but it ended up having the opposite effect.
Ben got up a stormed out, putting an end to their “bonding” session. Steve admitted to Cassie Plummer that he might have made things “10 times worse”.
Can the half-brothers put aside their differences and build a relationship?
