NINA’S NEW VIBE: CORRY FINALLY EXPLAINS THE DRAMATIC CHANGE TO MOLLIE’S ICONIC LOCKS 💇‍♀️✨

Coronation Street has addressed Nina Lucas star Mollie Gallagher’s hair transformation for the first time since the actor underwent an off-screen change. Earlier this year, Gallagher transformed her look with a hair makeover, changing her blonde locks back to black.

Not only did she change her hair colour, but the soap star also added a fresh set of extensions, transforming her shoulder-length hair into a waist-length style.

Addressing the change for the first time on screen in tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, Nina was seen sporting long black hair, with Lisa commenting on it as she entered the café.

“Oh! Back to black, as Amy Winehouse would say,” said Lisa, with Nina replying: “Yeah. I mean. I got a bit bored of being blonde. It’s a bit meh.” Realising what she had said to Lisa, who is blonde, Nina added: “Not on you, of course.”

Back when Gallagher revealed her new look, she shared a selfie on Instagram along with a caption, which read: “New year old me xoxo Hair colour and extensions by the best hair transformer.”

Taking to the comment section, several of Gallagher’s co-stars shared their thoughts on the makeover, with Amy Barlow star Elle Mulvaney, saying she looked “unreal”.

Summer Spellman actor Harriet Bibby said she was “obsessed”, while Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, called Gallagher a “beautiful girl”.

Fans also took to the comments to share their thoughts, with one fan commenting: “WOW, that colour really suits you, keep it!”

“Although light hair suits you, you look amazing with it black,” penned another, with one person writing: “So Stunningly Amazing! The Gothic Style is coming back. YES!”
