Logan Brown married Michelle Petty on the Sunday, September 29th episode of Sister
Wives but it was not acknowledged.
Everyone referred to it as the wedding in Las Vegas and to them as the “bride” and
“groom.” Many fans had no idea the wedding that was causing such tension and turmoil was Logan’s. So, why was TLC trying to hide the couple? Logan’s wife is now opening up about the situation.
Logan Brown’s Wife Addresses TLC ‘Hiding’ Them
Longtime Sister Wives viewers know that the show is historically a year and a half to two years behind. So, Mykelti Brown Padron gave birth to her twins, Ace and Archer in last week’s episode. However, they are going to be two in November.
That is how much time has elapsed since filming. Additionally, Christine Brown Woolley has already met and married her husband, David Woolley. They will celebrate one year of marriage this month. In fact, their wedding special rounded out Season 18 but she has yet to go on her first date with him in Season 19.
It is very backward and sometimes confusing. As for Logan Brown and Michelle Petty, they tied the knot in October 2022. In the latest episode of Sister Wives, the former wives and Kody Brown were preparing to attend a wedding.
Kody Brown did not want to go as he felt uncomfortable whereas Christine and Janelle Brown put all of the drama on the backburner. It made sense as it was Logan and Michelle’s wedding. Yet, no one even mentioned them and cameras were not allowed. Now, Michelle is addressing why they were hidden via Twitter/X:
- We didn’t ask for our names not to be mentioned. We didn’t know it was even going to be referenced until I started getting DM after DM.
So, Michelle and Logan Brown really did not care one way or another, they just did not want cameras there. This post from Michelle was shared in a Reddit thread and some fans were shocked that it was Logan’s wedding they had attended.
Shock Sets In
There were Sister Wives fans who had no idea the wedding in question was that of Logan Brown and Michelle Petty. Some simply assumed it was a close friend the way Kody Brown was describing it:
- IT WAS LOGAN’S WEDDING?!?! oh my god the way they talked about it, i thought it was a family friend like that couple kody officiated for.
- I’m so happy for reddit bc for the life of me I was like “ who’s getting married “ Chody acted like it was some distant relative vs his fkn SON
It has been confirmed that Logan does not want to be a part of the show. His siblings, who are active on Patreon, have shared he is staying away from it. Finally, the only reason viewers caught on that it was Logan’s wedding was by what Janelle Brown was wearing and her social media photos. Aside from that, many were in the dark.
Do you think that there was a better workaround for Logan and Michelle’s sake? Or, did the illusiveness bring more attention to the episode? Let us know and watch Sister Wives Sundays on TLC.
