Stephanie’s kidnapping wraps with a stunning arrest – EJ, while Holly and Ari’s friendship reaches the breaking point, according to Days of our Lives spoilers. And gunfire rings out in Salem and Alamainia, sending two men collapsing to the ground. Are they dead or just injured? Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of March 16-20, 2026.

Friendship Foiled

Tensions escalate between Ari (Marissa Reyes) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis), and the two best friends have it out. “I have hit my breaking point,” yells Ari, who’s fed up with her pal’s erratic behavior. “I’m done, Holly. I’m so done.”

Poor Holly, who’s being drugged by Sophia (Rachel Boyd), is crushed. She stands there with tears in her eyes.

Kidnapping and Consequences

At Salem University Hospital, the recently freed Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is trying to cope with the aftermath of her kidnapping. She receives a comforting hug from her mother, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).

Across town, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) haul Owen (Wes Ramsey) into the police station for questioning. “Who brought you to town?” asks Rafe (Galen Gering). “Dr. Rolf,” replies Owen.

Later, Rafe pays EJ (Dan Feuerriegel, who says EJ may have crossed his darkest line yet) a visit at the mansion. “Stephanie was being held in a room that no one knew about but you,” he announces to EJ, while Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) looks on. Rafe ends up handcuffing the DiMera and carting him off.

Men on a Mission 

Vivian’s (Louise Sorel) henchman, Klaus (Bassel Alzaro), is a man on a mission to “silence” Liam (Hank Northrop). He skulks around Salem with a gun.

Back in Alamainia, Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri (Peter Porte) continue to investigate Dimitri’s disappearance. “Can you imagine the look on her face when she sees the two of us coming back?” asks Leo. Suddenly, Dimitri sees something through the curtain on the window and screams out, “Leo. No!” Dimitri jumps up and tries to push Leo out of the way of danger.

Two Men Down

Meanwhile, Klaus draws his gun on Liam in the park, but JJ (Casey Moss) intercepts the hit. “Police,” he yells out, pointing his pistol at Klaus. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) arrives for backup, wielding a gun of his own.

Gunshots are fired at both locations, but who’s been hit? Dimitri runs over to Leo, who collapses to the floor. Back in Salem, JJ calls out, “Shawn,” just as his police partner falls to the ground and grimaces in pain.
