Later, Ari and Holly began arguing over the upcoming sorority party, leading to Ari calling off their friendship and Holly moving out. After Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) creeped up on Gwen (Emily O’Brien) in the square, the two shared an unpleasant conversation. Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri (Peter Porte) plotted their next move, then Dimitri spotted the red light of a sniper through their hotel window.

Philip admitted to Gabi that he worked with Vivian (Louise Sorel) to forge the letter from Victor (the late John Aniston). Then when Gabi was about to come clean with him, Ari showed up upset over her fight with Holly. Liam (Hank Northrop) continued being followed by Klaus (Bassel Alzaro). JJ (Casey Moss) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) spent St. Patrick’s Day at the pub, where he came face-to-face with Liam for the first time. When the bullet shot through the window, Dimitri tackled Leo, giving him a concussion. Later, Andrew (Colton Little) showed up and assured them they cleared Dimitri’s name, but he’s now a suspect in Vivian and her henchman’s disappearance. Andrew suspected Dimitri and Leo were involved in Vivian’s disappearance, but when Leo’s concussion got worse, Dimitri asked Andrew to take Leo back to Salem. Klaus held Liam at gunpoint. When JJ appeared, Klaus pulled the trigger, and flashbacks made JJ hesitate to react. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) showed up and he and Klaus both pulled the trigger, shooting each other. Ari found Liam bleeding from the bullet graze. When Paulina found out the pod was empty, she called EJ to ask where he put Lexie (Nikki Crawford), and he assured her his sister was in a safe location.

Friday, March 20, 2026, Episode #15339

Holly vented to Sarah about her erratic behavior. Ari brought Liam to her dorm and patched him up. Shawn made it out of surgery and woke up to find JJ in his room. Shawn scorned JJ for not taking the shot at Klaus. Jada (Elia Cantu) arrived to question Shawn and and admitted she was scared learning he’d be shot. Belle worried about what shooting and killing Klaus might do to Shawn. Rachel gave Tate (Leo Howard) the supplements to give to Holly, but when he gave them to Holly, he asked if he could try some himself.
