Coronation Street fans have been seen sharing the same statement following Daniel Osbourne’s reaction to his girlfriend Megan Walsh’s arrest.
It would be fair to say the teacher hasn’t had much luck when it comes to his love life and following his drama with Daisy Midgeley and split from Bethany Platt, Daniel was open to meeting someone knew when he met Megan, who followed the Driscolls to the cobbles late last year.
As fans know, Megan ended up staying in Weatherfield after Will kicked off to his family about having to leave his athletics training behind after his dad, Ben Driscoll, surprised partner Eva Price by moving from Hull to Weatherfield to run the Rovers Return.
But it wasn’t because he was worried about his athletics career, more than he was leaving Megan, whose family is completely unaware he’s having a secret relationship with, with the pair having since been seen sleeping together once he turned 16.
As Corrie fans know, Sam Blakeman figured out the truth but once Megan found out that he knew what she and Will were up to, she was keen to shut him down and has been bullying him into keeping quiet ever since.
However, as viewers saw earlier this week, Sam finally admitted the truth after he was rushed to the hospital after collapsing as a result of taking ADHD medication that wasn’t prescribed to him.
While Sam tried to blame school stress for taking the medication, step-mum Leanne Battersby knew something wasn’t right and in Tuesday’s (March 17) episode of Corrie, fans saw Leanne eventually get the truth out of Sam, only for them to be joined by Will’s step-mother, Eva Price, who didn’t want to believe what the teen was saying.
Later, Leanne, Eva and Toyah Battersby gathered in the Rovers Return and when Megan joined her, they grilled her on her relationship with Will and what Sam had told them. Megan cried and claimed Will had a silly crush and that Sam had gotten the wrong end of the stick, but once she had gone, Eva confirmed she “didn’t believe a flamin’ word” of what the teacher told them.

It was then on Wednesday (March 18) in Corrie that Eva had to break the news to Will’s father, Ben, before Ollie and Maggie also discovered what had been going on.
Despite Will sticking with Megan’s story that he had a crush and that she rejected his pass at her, Ben, Eva, Toyah and Leanne were seen heading to the police to report Megan, before DC Kit Green later headed to Weatherfield High to arrest Megan, much to Daniel’s disbelief, as he described Kit as “gullible”.
And it’s Daniel who Corrie fans think will end up regretting his first reaction to Megan’s arrest when he discovers that his partner is in fact the sexual predator she is being accused of being.
