Coronation Street Soap Scoop! Sam’s shock collapse
Coronation Street‘s Kit Green could face the consequences of his attack on Bernie Winter-Alahan’s stalker Mal Roper next week, as the creepy new character wakes up from his coma. Morally dubious cop Kit is the one sent to question Mal in hospital after he wakes up, but how much does Mal actually remember of the attack?
In a preview clip from Tuesday’s (17 March) episode, Kit is told by a nurse that Mal is doing well and is in a “very chatty” mood.

As he prepares to go into his room, he does his best to hide his worry, but it’s clear that he’s nervous. Will his demeanour clue Mal into the truth?
It’s not just Mal himself that Kit needs to worry about next week, as his partner DS Lisa Swain tells him that she’s found a possible witness to the attack.
Kit goes to meet the man in question, Barry, who instantly recognises Kit as the attacker.

“This witness could destroy Kit’s life”, our soap source said. “Not only could he lose his job, this attack and cover-up would mean a serious prison sentence. Kit needs to find a way to stop the witness talking – and fast.”

Of course, Kit’s proven to be a dab hand at getting with all sorts of things he shouldn’t be doing, but is this instance of him taking matters into his hands one time too many?
Elsewhere in next week’s episodes, Todd Grimshaw tries to move on from Theo Silverton, but the villain has other plans. Meanwhile, Adam Barlow’s reputation hits the skids, and the net closes in on evil Megan Walsh.
