HOTTES NEWS TODAY!!! EastEnders sets up Nicola’s major dilemma as Eddie suggests secret deal
EastEnders Soap Scoop! Bea is caught out
EastEnders‘ Nicola Mitchell was faced with a major dilemma in tonight’s episode, as the villainous Eddie Knight made her a deal she couldn’t easily refuse.
The latest instalment began with Nicola receiving a call from her accountant informing her that Harry’s Barn is in the red, which came as a shock to her as she thought that there were thousands in the business account.
She accused Harry of using drugs again, but Gina revealed that the money had gone towards George’s new restaurant Knight Fusion, as it’s been struggling.
Nicola chewed Harry out for being stupid and not coming to her, screaming: “If I don’t cough up then both businesses go under.”
Elsewhere and against Gina’s protests, George went back up to the hospital to see Eddie one last time. Eddie asked George if he could move back to Walford to spend his final days, but George realised he was just playing him and his attempts to make amends were only so he didn’t have to go back to prison.

“I came here to say that I wouldn’t be seeing you again. I almost got suckered back in,” he said. “You think I would let you anywhere near me or my kids. Nah. You made your bed. Goodbye, Eddie.”

George went home and told Nicola about his meeting with Eddie. He admitted that even though he said no to Eddie’s plan, he knew he’d “never be free of the man”.
An enraged Nicola went to see Eddie in hospital to tell him to never contact her family ever again, but was stopped in her tracks by his response.
“I’ve got money,” he said, weakly. “My Gloria was good with the savings. And there’s me pension as well. We’re talking a low six figures. She’d have wanted him to have the lot.”
“A bribe? Oh you really are a bottom-feeder,” Nicola spat back, but after another conversation about with her accountant, she considered selling Harry’s Barn. He insisted that she couldn’t, as running the place is the only thing keeping him sober.

Nicola returned to the hospital to make the deal with Eddie — but he’d changed the terms. He now wanted to move in with George and the family — something his compassionate leave wouldn’t allow given George testified against him in court — which would mean Nicola would have to lie to the authorities on top of betraying her partner.
Will she do it?

EastEnders Soap Scoop! Cindy and Max’s next step
It’s a time of celebration for EastEnders‘ George Knight and Nicola Mitchell next week, as their families come together to honour adorable baby Ivy with a traditional Ghanaian naming ceremony. However, what should be a beautiful moment is promptly ruined when George’s evil adoptive father Eddie turns up out of the blue. And why? He’s moving in!
“The atmosphere immediately changes,” explains our Walford insider. “Eddie’s a racist, a convicted murderer and a generally unpleasant man. His toxic energy is the last thing George and Nicola want for their baby girl’s special day, never mind him coming to live with them.”

The trouble is, though, Nicola’s done a deal with the devil. Awful Eddie has agreed to hand over a substantial wad of cash to Nicola – whose business Harry’s Barn is struggling financially – in return for letting him move in with her and George.
On the day of the party, Nicola’s stressed as she meets with Eddie’s prison officer to finalise the deal. However, after Harry walks in on them, Nicola is left with no choice but to confess to George – but keeps quiet about Eddie’s money.
With Eddie having announced that he’s dying, Nicola convinces George that letting his old man stay is the right thing to do. George initially rejects the idea given that he disowned Eddie after learning that he’d murdered George’s biological dad. But after Nicola forces the issue, George eventually compromises on Eddie living in their basement flat.

“George and Nicola keep the decision to themselves and paint on a smile for Ivy’s party,” reveals our source. “However, they’re soon left with some explaining to do after Eddie arrives, ready to move in, right in the middle of Ivy’s ceremony!”

It’s no surprise that the extended family are horrified, while the pressure on Nicola increases when Eddie takes her aside and asserts that he won’t give her any cash unless he can live with them all in the main house.
Later, Nicola assesses her cash flow problems at Harry’s Barn – and with protective George still adamant that his dad must stay in the basement, Nicola panics.
Meanwhile, after an emotional heart-to-heart with girlfriend Gina over how she feels about Eddie, empathetic Harry begs his mum to scrap the deal. However, Nicola insists that they need the money to save their failing business…

“Harry feels like he’s betraying Gina by going along with his mum’s plan,” explains our source. “Nicola won’t budge though, as Eddie’s money is the only way to save the club.”
Having wormed his way in, Eddie extends an olive branch to Nicola, but she isn’t interested.
Elsewhere, Cindy Beale warns George to stay away from his twisted old man – but he refuses to listen. Could letting hideous Eddie into his home be the biggest mistake George ever makes?
