EastEnders’ Denise Fox becomes increasingly concerned about her energy levels next week, after Sam Mitchell finds her asleep in the salon. With extreme tiredness playing on her mind, Denise books a doctor’s appointment. Is something medically wrong with her?
“Denise is really starting to worry now,” explains our EastEnders insider. “She works hard and runs a busy household. But whatever this is, it’s knocking her for six.”
In recent months, Denise has supported Sam through her breast cancer treatment and celebrated with her when she got the good news that she had the all clear. But in a recent candid chat with Sam, Denise admitted that she had been feeling particularly exhausted lately.
Seeing first-hand what Sam has been through has made Denise more aware of her body, so this new symptom of her feeling so wiped out all the time is freaking her out.
She’s already considered going to the doctors, but presumed they’d dismiss her because of her age. But when Sam finds Denise asleep at work next week, she senses something’s wrong…
The next day, Sam checks in with Denise, and she’s pleased to hear her friend has booked a GP appointment and is hopeful that they’ll say it’s just stress. Sam also wonders if Linda’s suggestion of selling her shares in Fox & Hair will have added to the pressure and considers whether Jack might be a good investor for the business.
Sam’s idea gives Denise food for thought, but will she invite her husband to take shares in the salon? And what could Denise’s tiredness be down to?
Linda’s decision to sell her stake in Fox & Hair next week comes as she learns that her son Johnny is struggling financially with his new business. She makes a bold move to help him out with cash, but is left devastated when Johnny rejects her kind offer.
Johnny is still furious with his mum so tells her to stay out of his business. Grant tries to cheer Linda up, but after she snaps at him, he heads over to the café to give Johnny a piece of his mind. Will Grant’s words persuade Johnny to reconcile with his mum?
