SHOCKING TRUTH REVEALED!! EastEnders fans ‘uncover’ Vicky’s mystery blackmailer

A wild fan theory speculating on the identity of Vicki Fowler’s (Alice Haig) mystery blackmailer is setting the EastEnders rumour mill on fire – and it’s completely bonkers. However, that doesn’t mean it’s wrong…

Vicki’s in a bit of a bind. That’s what happens when you swap spit with former fling Zack Hudson (James Farrar) in an alleyway on your hen night in London’s nosiest borough. Now somebody’s blackmailing her over the steamy snog for the whopping sum of twenty thousand pounds.

But who?

That’s a good question, and one that is sending Vicks down a rabbit hole of suspicion and paranoia.

Whoever saw her locking lips with Zack on that fateful night is threatening to spill the tea to her husband Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) unless she pays up. She’s already cheated on Ross once with Zack, and their marriage is still recovering.

No way will it survive another blow…

Finding the blackmailer is not an easy task, especially when you’re as popular as Vicky is. The suspects include half of Walford.

There’s Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), who caught Vicki and Zack share a steamy snog and pulled the fire alarm just to cool them off.

Then again, could it be Vicky’s troubled incel son Joel Marshall (Max Murray), who has already attacked his stepson in a misogynistic fury?

We’re not even halfway down the list. Tonight’s episode of EastEnders sees Vicki go off the deep end as she suspects three different Walford residents in the space of twenty minutes – Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Zoe is a possibility. Those two have got more beef than Kathy’s Cafe. But when Vicki accuses her of sending the message, Zoe responds with a good point ‘If I wanted to say something about you, I’d say it to your face. You’re losing it, I think babe’

So it would seem. That’s why she seeks help from her no-good brother Mark Fowler Jnr, who manages to track the blackmailer’s phone signal to Peter and Lauren’s house.Does this mean the Blackmailer is a Beale?

Mark also puts his Sherlock Holmes hat on and deduces a bit of info about Vicki’s enigmatic tormentor from the messages they sent her. ‘It’s definitely their first time.’ He reckons ‘They ain’t said how much they want or where to leave the money. They’re not very good.’

Ouch. Stinging criticism from one of Albert Square’s most successful criminals. Does this eliminate Ian Beale from the running? You’d think the man who framed Max Branning for Lucy’s death and got Sharon Watts to marry him despite knowing he caused Dennis’ death would be a little bit more seasoned in the art of blackmail.

Vicki clearly doesn’t agree, as she confronts him in tonight’s episode. However, Ian seems genuinely horrified to hear that Vicki has cheated on Ross – again! He tears into Vicki for her accusation, and doesn’t miss an opportunity to tear Zack to shreds for being the stripper on hen night.

‘I have made plenty of mistakes’. Ian admits. ‘But I have never been accused of cheating with Mister I-Can’t-Keep-My-Clothes on while my fiance was next door! And I have never accused my family of blackmailing me over an affair’!

Just to ram home Ian’s point, suddenly Vicky gets a message from her blackmailer, demanding twenty grand in twenty four hours or they tell Ross everything.Since Cathy and Ian are in the room at the time, that seems to take them off the suspect list.

However, one EastEnders fan is still certain the blackmailer is a Beale. Who?

Louie. Ten-year-old Louie. Son of Peter and Lauren.

One X user shared their outside-the-box theory on April 13th.

Included were two photos. One showing Louie wearing a blue coat, and the other of the mysterious blackmailer, watching the footage of Vicki kissing Zack on his mobile, wearing an intriguingly similar coat.

This idea seemed to divide fans, with criticism ranging from the likelihood of a 10 year old owning a phone, to the blackmailer’s choice of handwear.

‘No 8 year old wears Richard hillman gloves in April.’ One fan responded.

However, others were convinced. ‘I could see it’. Another fan agreed. ‘Louie has shown he’s got a mean streak in him, what with bullying Ollie.’

It’s a valid theory. Louie did bully Ollie Carter, Elaine Peacock’s grandson. But does that mean he’s capable of blackmail? Also, what’s a ten year old going to spend twenty grand on? Lego?
