SHOCKING NEWS!! Coronation Street rocked by murder as Theo, Megan and Jodie do their worst

Not long now. In two weeks, somebody will die in Coronation Street.
Earlier this year in February, the soap gave us a chilling glimpse into Corrie Yet To Come with a flashforward to Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain’s (Vicky Myers) wedding – where Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) discovers a body.
The end of the episode revealed five characters who could potentially be the murder victim, who just so happen to a rogue’s gallery of Weatherfield’s biggest liars, killers, backstabbers and ner’erdowells.
Let’s dive into the chaos three of the characters on the list have caused – Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) and Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown).
Theo Silverton

For months, this raging, narcissistic anger-addict has reduced his partner Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) into a shivering wreck with emotional gaslighting, psychological manipulation and terrifying bouts of violence. He literally forced the poor bloke down the aisle blind-folded to get married.
While Theo acts like the world’s best boyfriend out in public, his nice guy routine is starting to crack – especially since George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) overheard him giving Todd a barrage of vitriolic abuse.
Since then, Theo’s best mate and boss Gary Windass (Mikey North) has turned on him… and Gary’s not a man you want to make enemies of, seeing how he’s already killed two people.
Worse still, Summer Spellman is determined to prove that Theo left her adoptive father, Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) to perish in the flames of the Corriedale Crash.

After Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) hinted that Theo was responsible, now she’s determined to find proof. And, after the special single strand episode where Todd finally reports Theo to the police, next week is where it all kicks off…
After a run-in with Carl, the pressure causes Theo to crack when hemenacingly confronts Summer and gloats how Billy begged him to save him. Summers left shaken to the core.
Terrified Summer pours her heart out to George, who corners Theo and spells out that if he comes anywhere near Todd or Summer again, he won’t be responsible for his actions. Is that a threat of murder?
Could be. After all, Theo’s an unpopular bloke. Almost as unpopular as our next baddie…
Megan Walsh

Megan’s so despised on the Cobbles that she’s got two Weatherfield families out for her blood.
Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) and Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) are determined to put her behind bars for grooming their underage son Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) into an illicit relationship, gaslighting the lad into believing she loved him.
Will’s grandmother, Maggie Driscoll however, would settle for putting Megan six feet under – and it wouldn’t be the first time. She pushed her first husband Allan to his death during a heated row about her affair with Jim McDonald (Charles Lawson). Plus, she’s already tracked Megan down to the flat slat she’s been hiding in and violently assaulted her.
Then there’s the Barlows, who are furious with Megan for trying to keep schoolboy Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) quiet about her tryst with Will with a campaign of threats and intimidation so vile that he started taking Ritalin and collapsed on the Cobbles before revealing the truth to his shocked family.

Now the cat’s out of the bag, Sam’s parents Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) along with aunt Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) are hellbent on revenge.
There’s one person with reason to want Megan dead more than any other… her victim. While Will is still under Megan’s spell for now, that may change once the scales fall from his eyes and he realises that he was abused.
That’s likely to happen once he discovers that Megan didn’t lose their baby because Maggie attacked her… but because she chose a secret termination. Could will have more motive for murder than anyone?
He’d have to get in line. There’s an angry mob baying for Megan in upcoming episodes, as the predator plans to flee Weatherfield with Will.

The Driscolls are furious when Kit breaks the news to Ben, Eva and Maggie that the CPS has dropped the case against Megan due to lack of evidence.
Later, Will meets up with Megan and shares the good news that the police have dropped the case. Relieved, Megan confirms that she’s booked their tickets to Paris. Will Megan escape justice and take Will from his family?
Meanwhile, Eva searches Will’s things and finds a burner phone with just one contact number. Leanne urges Eva to trap Megan by sending a message pretending to be Will and arrange to meet .
Will Megan take the bait? How far will Leanne and Eva go to get Megan out of their boys’ lives for good?
Jodie Ramsey

Unlike Megan and Theo, Jodie’s true colours have yet to be exposed. This Cobbles Cuckoo In The Nest has got her feet under table at the Platts’, while acting like butter wouldn’t melt with Shona (Julia Goulding).
Little does Shona suspect that her twisted sister is trying to turn her husband David (Jack P Shepherd) and daughter Lily (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) against her so she can take her place within the family, as payback for running away from home as a teenager and ‘abandoning’ Jodie to the abusive father.
Her weapons of choice seem to be slowly seducing David and making Shona look like a bad mum in Lily’s eyes.

So far, nobody has truly seen this bunny-boiler’s true colours, although she does have a couple of skeletons in her closet just waiting to be uncovered. For instance, how she came to Corrie in the first place.
Not only did she come up with a cock and bull story about escaping an abusive relationship, but the truth is that she escaped from the back of Emmerdale supervillain Graham Foster’s (Andrew Scarborough) van. Then there’s her mysterious box of trinkets filled with stolen items from her friends and neighbours. Will someone find Jodie’s sinister treasure trove?
Recent episodes see Jodie stepping up her plan and causing a rift between Shona and David on Lily’s birthday. This just might lead to Jodie’s downfall, as upcoming episodes of Coronation Street will see Jodie plunged into panic when a secret from her past comes to light…

It’s intruiging to see Jodie horrified to spot a flyer in the post advertising a haulage company called Haul North. What does it mean to her?
At No.6, an uneasy Jodie reluctantly introduces a stranger named Olivia to Shona, explaining how she used to be Olivia’s nanny. Shona insists she must stay for tea.
But Jodie returns home to find Olivia going through her bag. Olivia admitsshe knows she stole her Dad’s hard drive and she was hoping to steal it back in a bid to impress him. We’ve already seen that the hard drive is one of the items in Jodie’s box of trinkets…
Shaky Jodie leads Shona to believe that Olivia’s dad is her violent ex boyfriend and taking the hard drive from her bag, explains that she stole it from him and he wants her dead.Panicking, Shona points out to Jodie that now Olivia knows where she lives, her Dad could show up at any time and she must leave immediately for her own safety.
Will Shona rumble Jodie’s deception? Will Jodie’s lies result in losing her sister… or her life?
