ANGER ERUPTS! Coronation Street’s Carl furious as Ronnie and Kevin alliance backfires already

Coronation Street Soap Scoop! Todd reports Theo
Coronation Street‘s Ronnie Bailey and Kevin Webster faced the wrath of Carl Webster tonight, as he discovered their plan to bring him down. Though Ronnie ultimately got cold feet, Carl was furious that they had been plotting against him and issued a stern warning. But will the pair give in?
Last night’s episode saw Ronnie and Kevin forming an alliance, following Carl’s latest scheme to extort money from Debbie. Though Carl apologised and claimed he only wanted to spend time with his biological mum, Ronnie was left unconvinced.

Worried about his sister’s worsening dementia, Kevin promised to help Ronnie serve Carl some justice, by any means possible. They resolved to “get rid” of Carl for a “long time” in order to protect Debbie.
In tonight’s episode, Kevin visited Ronnie at Chariot Square Hotel to confirm the status of their plan. Ronnie shared that he had contacted Carl’s dodgy associate Fiona to help implicate the villain in a criminal venture.
Meanwhile, Debbie enjoyed some quality time with Carl, telling him she was considering taking dance lessons. She was surprised to learn he had some experience in that area and the pair practiced a few dance steps around the hotel restaurant.

Noticing the joy on his wife’s face from afar, Ronnie was visibly conflicted. He realised that getting Carl arrested would only hurt Debbie and decided to call off the plan with Fiona.

“[Fiona] wasn’t too pleased, though. Said I was messing her around, which I was, to be fair,” Ronnie later explained to Kevin. “And listen, I want him gone as much as anyone. But this just didn’t feel right.”
Their conversation was interrupted by Carl who angrily confronted them about their plot to frame him. He said that a disgruntled Fiona had told him the whole story after Ronnie cancelled on her.
The schemer reminded the duo that he was still Debbie’s number one priority and that she would be furious to discover their alliance. Though he said he wasn’t going to tell her this time, he warned: “You try anything like this again, and I will.”
