đš DEBBIEâS HORRIFYING DISCOVERY: THE S.I.C.KENING TRUTH ABOUT CARLâS TWISTED BLACKMAIL PLOT REVEALED! đ±đ„
Coronation Streetâs Debbie Webster sees her son Carlâs true colours again next week, when she finds out that he offered Summer Spellman information about Billy Mayhewâs death in exchange for her inheritance money.

Fresh out of prison, Debbie decides to organise a trip away with her gal pals to celebrate her new-found freedom. However, the fun plans grind to a halt when Bernie Winter-Alahan reveals that nasty Carl made Summer a twisted deal â she can finally hear the truth, in exchange for the money sheâs received from Billyâs life insurance.
âThis is possibly the sickest scheme that Carl has concocted yet,â explains our Coronation Street source. âManipulating Billyâs adopted daughter to snatch away the only financial support she has left from her dad is a real low blow, especially after heâs already tried to bleed Debbie dry.
âPlus the fact that he hasnât handed Theo in to the police himself proves how morally corrupt Carl is. If this doesnât make Debbie wise up to her sonâs wicked ways, we donât know what willâŠâ
Determined to confront Carl over the shocking allegations, Debbie summons her son to her flat, where she grills him on the vile extortion claims.
Carl tells his mum that he overheard Billyâs killer confess, but refuses to reveal their identity. Debbie is absolutely disgusted that he could be so selfish.
âDebbie hopes that Carl will deny the rumour, but when itâs proven to be true, Debbie canât take it,â warns our spy. âShe throws Carl out in a fit of fury â but their confrontation has devastating consequences for poorly DebâŠâ
The encounter with Carl tragically triggers some of Debbieâs dementia symptoms, and panicked Ryan Connor finds his boss staring vacantly aheadâŠ
Carlâs latest drama could be bad news for Theo Silverton, who left Billy to die in the big Corriedale crash at the start of the year.
When Theo reflected on his dark decision during a moment alone with Billyâs body at the funeral parlour, Carl overheard every word. So far, Carl has kept quiet about Theoâs secret â but that could start to change in upcoming episodes.
âItâs two villains head-to-head competing for the top spot, if you will,â James Cartwright, who plays Theo, told Inside Soap back in February.
âItâs like two silverback gorillas in the jungle. When two silverbacks fight, whoever wins, that silverback then takes all of the other silverbackâs family. They take everything that they own.
âI feel itâs a bit like that with Theo and Carl. Itâs a âwinner takes allâ situation. Theyâre starting to dislike each other now, but that turns to real hateâŠâV
