THE iconic Platt family from Coronation Street have reunited a year after Helen Worth quit the show.
The household hasn’t been quite the same since Gail Platt bid farewell to Weatherfield, but in real life, she’s very much still in contact with her co-stars.
Tina O’Brien, who plays her on-screen daughter Sarah, took to Instagram on Monday to share pictures of their sweet reunion.
The soap stars gathered to watch Helen’s interview at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester on Sunday evening.
In the snap, Helen is seen posing alongside Tina, Jack P Shepherd who plays David, Lucy Fallon who portrays Bethany and Julia Goulding, who plays Shona.
The group are all smiles as they pose for the adorable family picture, proving how close of a friendship they have outside of the show.

Corrie fans flocked to the comments section to share their excitement for the reunion.
One person gushed: “I love that the family bond on screen has blurred into real life. Don’t tell me the Platts aren’t a real family.”

Helen’s character Gail finally got her happily ever after and left the cobbles with her husband Jesse to start a new life in France.
She played the long-suffering character on the soap for 50 years.

In a behind the scenes video shared online of her final day, she said through a cracked voice: “The reason I’ve been here all these years, and it’s a lot of years, It’s more than I can think about really, Is because of all of you people that have been here for, well, some of you for all of those fifty years and others for half of that time.
“But I couldn’t have done any of it without you. I really couldn’t. You are the most amazing team of people, and I really do say thank you.
“And as for this lot, who didn’t tell me (about this). Oh God, I love them so much.
“I don’t quite know what I’m going to do without you. But thank you for everything.”
Before her Corrie exit Helen received a prestigious television award acknowledging long career and contribution to television.
She was honoured at the North West Royal Television Society awards in Manchester in November 2024.
Taking the award she told the audience: “To receive an award, in Manchester, in the north west, the home of Coronation Street, is an absolute joy.
“I’ve done 50 years, I don’t know how I did it!
