Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) left DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) feeling uncomfortable in tonight’s Coronation Street, and the local detective certainly isn’t someone to make an enemy of – especially if you are in the midst of a nefarious scheme…
However, it seems that Jodie enjoys living on the edge of danger, and tonight threw herself into the lion’s den when she offered to babysit Connie for Carla Connor (Alison King).
With both Carla and Lisa needing to head into work, Carla was at a loss over what to do with her niece, until Jodie offered to take care of her for a few hours.
After assuring Carla that she was DBS checked and had experience looking after kids, Jodie was left in charge.
When Lisa arrived home later, she was startled to find Jodie in the kitchen, helping herself to a drink and snacks.
As Jodie explained how she had come to be there, Lisa didn’t look too impressed.
Carla arrived home not long later, and Lisa made her concerns known, as she urged Carla to check references before letting anyone else look after Connie.
With Carla having agreed, could this be the beginning of Jodie’s downfall? Will Lisa take a closer look into Jodie and her history and find something alarming?
Actress Olivia Frances-Brown has already teased that the link between Jodie and Emmerdale’s Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) is set to be revealed ‘pretty soon’, but could it be Lisa who uncovers the truth?
And with Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) having been the one to find Jodie after she escaped Graham’s van in the Corriedale episode, could he be the one to help Lisa put the pieces together?
Jodie doesn’t exactly take kindly to being crossed, having meddled in several of her neighbours lives for the slightest misdeed. Could Lisa be set to find herself in Jodie’s crosshairs next, or will the detective put an end to her misdeeds before she gets the chance to enact revenge?
