Coronation Street has aired more trauma for Will Driscoll tonight in the aftermath of Megan Walsh’s arrest. The sports coach’s horrific grooming was recently exposed, making her and Will the talk of the town.
Earlier this month, Sam Blakeman finally revealed the truth about Megan and Will’s inappropriate relationship. Though Megan did her best to brush off the accusations, an unconvinced Eva Price immediately called the police.
During the investigation, Megan maintained her innocence and the police informed the Driscolls that they had no real evidence. But after Megan refused to take a DNA test for her secret pregnancy, even her boyfriend Daniel Osbourne couldn’t defend her.

Meanwhile, in an attempt to protect his teacher, Will claimed he simply had a one-sided crush, which Megan had shut down. But it seems his loyalty has made him an outsider with his peers.
In tonight’s episode, Eva was surprised to find her stepson in the back room of the pub, and questioned why he wasn’t at school. An irritated Will explained that everyone had been “pointing and laughing” at him, following Megan’s arrest.
“Hiding away here is only going to make it worse. I know it’s hard but…” advised his brother Ollie, before the teen cut him off.
“No, no, no. You’re right. I shouldn’t be here, hiding away from all my problems. I should be out there, just getting on with it. That’s what we have to do, is all just get on with it,” he said sarcastically as he stormed off.
Later, the teenager overheard some Rovers customers joking about wills, though he assumed they were laughing at him. He declared the pub was just like being at school, with “everyone talking about [him]”.
Is the pressure of lying slowly catching up to Will? And could the teasing push him to admit the truth about his ‘relationship’?
