Next week in Coronation Street sees an abuser unmasked, a family utterly collapse and a battle of the titans as two villains go head to head.
As Todd Grimshaw’s (Gareth Pierce) loved ones finally discover the full scope of Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) abuse, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) presents him with an ‘escape bag’, while Gary Windass (Mikey North) makes it clear to Theo that he should watch his back.
Is Todd any closer to finally escaping his monstrous boyfriend?
The Driscoll clan continue to implode following the exposure of Megan Walsh’s (Beth Nixon) grooming and sexual abuse of Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) and his refusal to confirm it.
While Ben (Aaron McCusker), Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) and Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike) take a more passive approach, Maggie (Pauline McLynn) has a more practical solution. Can she force a confession out of Megan?
Elsewhere, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) is suspicious about Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown), Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) continues to struggle in prison, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) comes to a devastating revelation and what else does Mal Roper (Tim Treloar) have in store for Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) and Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin)?
I know, I know! You tell me every week, I talk too much! On to the spoilers!

Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) tell Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) of George’s belief that Theo is abusing Todd, but when he arrives and realises that he’s the topic of conversation, he steels and leaps to Theo’s defence.
When Sarah fills Gary in, he’s disbelieving at first until the pieces begin to fall into place. When Gary offers to walk Todd home after work, they enter to an unknowing Theo unleashing a torrent of abuse.
Elsewhere, Mal relishes in dropping a bombshell at Dev’s door while throwing Bernie a sleazy comment and Ollie implores Will to open up to him.

While Ben and Eva they can only hope that Will stays clear of Megan, they’re unaware that he’s visiting her at her new flat. Dissatisfied with hoping, a rage-fuelled Maggie decides to visit Megan.
Also, George is crestfallen when Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) refuse to drop the case against him, Mal stalks Bernie and Dev as they head out for a date night, Bethany laments about her date standing her up and when Tim admits he’s not heard from Trisha, Sally theorises that she’s gone into hiding.

Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) approaches Maggie in the pub with news that Megan’s filed an assault allegation against her. After a grilling from Lisa, Maggie heads back to Megan’s, determined to have it out with her.
Elsewhere, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) opens up to Ken Barlow (William Roache) over his anger at being used as a pawn in Megan’s predatory game while Bethany enquires as to whether David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) has run a background check on Jodie, before heading out for a drink with her.

As Maggie attempts to drag the truth out of Will, Ben intervenes and defends his son against his mum. When he cruelly remarks that life would’ve been better had Maggie died instead of his dad, Maggie’s reaction leaves Ben more confused than ever.
Prior to George’s court hearing, Todd apologises to him for Theo’s grilling yesterday. George reaffirms that he’ll always be there for Todd, before heading to hear the verdict. Later, George is determined to understand Todd’s motives for moving to Belfast, but he remains evasive.
