Anyone in Walford will tell you that the Slater women are not to be messed with, so EastEnders’ Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) had better watch her back next week.

Mum and daughter duo Kat and Zoe Slater (Jessie Wallace and Michelle Ryan) look set to take furious revenge on sinful Cindy after a massive secret of hers is exposed in forthcoming scenes.

Fans of the BBC soap will no doubt recall that Cindy is currently withholding the mobile belonging to currently incarcerated Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness), having nabbed it from Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) possession.

Of course, that phone contains video evidence that proves Jasmine – who is currently locked up on a murder charge – only killed her dad Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) in self-defence.

Jasmine’s mum Zoe has been hunting for the missing mobile for weeks now, determined to prove her daughter’s innocence and free her from her prison nightmare.

But Cindy has been holding onto the device, wanting to make Jasmine pay for pushing her down a flight of stairs and leaving her for dead last year.

However, Cindy’s actions come to light next week following the arrival of Jasmine’s brother Josh (Joshua Vaughan) on the Square.

After Zoe finally shares an emotional reunion with her long-lost son, she is shocked when he reveals that Jasmine’s mobile accepted a call from him while she’s been in prison, and Zoe therefore concludes that someone has the missing phone.

When a row erupts between the Slaters and the Truemans at The Vic, Max watches on and feels guilty for having originally stolen Jasmine’s phone, and heads to The Albert to encourage his on-off lover Cindy to do the right thing and return it.

Later, Cindy arrives at The Vic and attempts to secretly plant the phone, but the plan fails when she bumps into Oscar and it lands right at Kat’s feet…

Can Cindy manage to talk herself out of it, or will Kat exact her revenge?

Whatever the outcome, things are certainly looking brighter for Jasmine, as Zoe and Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) find that the video is still on the phone.
