This article contains spoilers for tonight’s (Wednesday, March 18) episode of Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on YouTube and ITVX.
Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) has finally found herself facing the long arm of the law in Coronation Street after months of grooming student Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale).
The sports coach has used some dirty tricks to keep her so-called relationship with Will a secret, particularly against young Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan).
When Sam uncovered Megan’s grooming, she went to great lengths to keep him quiet, including stealing his essay to impact his otherwise perfect grades.
This took a major toll on Sam, who turned to using ADHD medication as a study aid, in the hopes of getting back on track.
Devastatingly, his abuse of the prescription medication led to him collapsing in the street.

In the hospital, he finally revealed the truth about Megan to Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), explaining how she’d threatened him in an attempt to keep him quiet.
In tonight’s episode, Eva had the unenviable task of telling Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) what had been going on.
Ben was understandably horrified, and wasted no time in asking Will about the accusations.
However, Will was still firmly defending Megan by sticking to their story that he’d confessed to having a crush and made a move on her.

This wasn’t enough to stop Ben and Eva from going to the police, and DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) promised to make the investigation a priority.
When Megan caught wind that Ben also knew the truth, she decided to run, but her speedy exit was stalled by boyfriend Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), who wanted to spend the evening with her.
It was during this conversation that the police arrived and arrested Megan, leaving Daniel confused and insistent that they’d made a mistake.
