FAREWELL TO THE COLLAR? DANIEL BROCKLEBANK DEBUTS STUNNING TRANSFORMATION AND REVEALS EXCITING NEW VENTURE đâď¸
Former Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has debuted a new look ahead of announcing his next role.
Brocklebank bowed out of the ITV soap in January after 11 years when his character Billy Mayhew was killed off in the explosive Corriedale crossover episode.
During his time on the soap as the beloved vicar, Brocklebank was instantly recognisable for sporting a grey beard.
After leaving the soap, the actor decided to undergo a transformation and recently revealed that he had shaved off his beard.
Taking to Instagram recently, Brocklebank shared a selfie, giving fans a glimpse at his new clean-shaven look.
He captioned the post: âFirst time clean shaven in over 10 years ready to start the next job. Yay or nay?? I canât decideâŚ.â
Brocklebankâs former Corrie co-stars took to the comment section to share their thoughts on his makeover, with George Shuttleworth actor Tony Maudsley writing: âItâs a YAY from me!! Youâre like Benjamin Button, dear!!â

Billyâs tragic exit saw him trapped in a minibus crash after Debbie Websterâs wedding, with the villainous Theo leaving him to die.
Sharing a statement after his characterâs funeral, Brocklebank wrote on Instagram: âWell, thatâs it. Final goodbye to Billy and my 11 years of being part of that special @coronationstreet family.
âLoved the writing! âDapper Danâ, âGreatest Showmanâ some lovely nods. You say goodbye, I say hello to so many new adventures. With huge love @coronationstreet over and out.â
