Coronation Street‘s Alya Nazir has found herself in hot water after defying former boss Rich Pemberton in a move that could put herself and parter Adam Barlow’s law firm in danger. Recent episodes have seen the return of Rich, who Alya previously spent six months working for in Dublin.
When Rich returned he accused Alya of leaking confidential information from his firm Fabian’s and issued her with an ultimatum while threatening to ruin her legal career.
Rich told her that she’d be reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) if she didn’t stop Adam from poaching one of their clients, Jenna Mackie.

On this coming Monday’s episode (16 March) Rich corners Alya while she’s working at The Bistro.
Rich asks her: “Have you done what I asked you?” Alya replies that she hasn’t and she’s not going to, adding: “If Jenna Mackie wants us to represent her then we will.
“I’m not going to be bullied by you.”
When Rich then tells her, “Don’t say I didn’t warn you of the consequences,” Alya suddenly doubts that she’s done the right thing.
Spoilers for the rest of next week’s episodes have already shown that Adam and Alya will be victims of a huge data breach with sensitive emails containing information about the residents of Weatherfield leaked.
The leak will plunge Adam’s firm in to crisis as his neighbours and clients are left wondering if he can ever be trusted again.

A Corrie source revealed: “All Adam’s confidential emails are leaked to the public.
“There are private emails about crucial court cases, including Debbie’s – and Ronnie is furious.
“Privacy is crucial in cases like these, so there’s a real danger that no-one will ever trust Adam and Alya again…”
