After a difficult start to their romance, which started before the end of 2024, things started to look up for Lisa and her partner, Carla Connir, when the detective sergeant popped the question and the couple moved into their first home, No.6 Coronation Street as the summer drew to a close last year.

But as fans of the ITV soap know, back in September, Lisa’s ex-wife, Becky Swain, returned from the dead on her and Lisa’s daughter Betsy’s 18th birthday, and quite quickly put a spanner in the works for the newly engaged couple as she returned with a clear plan of getting her family back together.

While she gave it her best shot, during months of torment, Becky’s downfall unfolded and viewers saw her sentenced to 12 years in prison. Following the ordeal, Lisa was keen to reunite with Carla and despite her being unsure at first, the Underworld factory boss couldn’t hide her feelings and the pair were soon back together.

Not only that, Carla went on to surprise Lisa, by booking their wedding date, April 23 to be exact, at the Chariot Square Hotel and while we haven’t seen too much wedding planning between the pair, fans have been giving some updates, including news that Lisa is officially divorced.

But during the latest episode of Corrie on Wednesday (April 8), it appeared that trouble could be brewing for Lisa, as Jodie Ramsey appeared to make her her latest target. Having become a babysitter for Carla’s niece, Connie, Jodie has found herself spending more time at No.6.

After getting short shrift from Lisa during her latest babysitting session, when left alone in the house, Jodie started to go through Lisa’s work folder and took out her police badge and ID card, before pocketing it for herself. Later on, Lisa apologised to Jodie for biting her head off earlier about the coffee, blaming it on the rough night she had.

The apology got Jodie thinking, and she appeared to consider taking the badge out of her bag, but decided against it and ended up taking it with her.

But as Corrie fans know, Jodie is among the victims of an upcoming murder on the cobbles. It was previously confirmed that a shock death will take place in Weatherfield this month, on April 23 to be exact, with Betsy the one to discover the dead body of one of her neighbours on the day of her mum’s wedding to Carla.

The news was confirmed in a flashforward episode which aired in February and showed the shocked and anxious teen telling detectives about finding the dead body of someone she knows. As well as Jodie, Megan Walsh, Theo Silverton, Maggie Driscoll and Carl Webster are also at risk of being bumped-off.
