Finn Carr was thrown straight into GH’s biggest storyline this month.

Marco’s murder and Cullum’s shooting easily became General Hospital’s biggest storyline right now, involving several characters in a twisty, turny story that all goes back to Faison’s final project. But it’s the youngest person involved who earned the top spot as Soap Hub’s Performer of the Month.

The Nominees
Marco’s (Adrian Anchondo) unexpected murder rattled Port Charles, but no one more than his father, Sidwell (Carlo Rota). He may be the town’s top villain, but when it came to Marco, he’s always been a loving, supportive father. So when Marco was killed, Rota brought a combination of grief and vengeance to the table, showing viewers a side of Sidwell we’ve never seen before.

Steve Burton’s exit may be temporary, but his last scenes left an impact on the audience. Between acting as a sniper on a roof and entering into a fight with Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), Jason went out with a bang. But his final moments in Port Charles will be what sticks with both viewers and characters, teary eyes as he said goodbye to Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and told Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) he loves her.

The Top Spot
This month’s top spot goes to one of GH’s youngest: Finn Carr. With Rocco acting on his combined Spencer and Corinthos genes and saving Jason by shooting Cullum, the teen actor was thrown right in the middle of the soap’s biggest storyline. Carr portrayed a typically wholesome teenager who did the wrong thing for the right reason, and now has to live with it. Between shakes and tears, Rocco bottled up what he did, only devastatingly revealing the truth to his mom, earning Carr the title of Soap Hub’s Performer of the Month.
