Fans of Emmerdale will have to wait to find out what killer John Sugden does with the late Nate Robinson’s phone, as the soap won’t be airing today.
In a change to regular scheduling, Emmerdale won’t air tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1, and the early release episode will not be available to stream on ITVX.
Instead, the channel will be hosting the international football, meaning that the soap’s usual slot is unavailable. Coverage of the friendly match between England and Senegal is set to begin at 7pm and is scheduled to end at 10.05pm.
This marks the second Tuesday in a row that the show hasn’t aired because of the football, after ITV reshuffled the schedule last week to accommodate the UEFA Women’s Nations League.
Fans needn’t worry as they won’t have too long a break from the soap, which will be back on screens in its usual 7.30pm slot tomorrow.

Viewers will be itching to find out what happened following Monday’s episode, which ended with an ominous cliffhanger in which John Sugden hinted at who he was going to frame for Nate’s murder.
After John was questioned by the police, he returned to the village where he met up with Cain and Aaron. The trio then bumped into Tracy, who reiterated her belief that Cain killed Nate.

Following a heated exchange, Cain flipped the narrative and accused Tracy of the crime after becoming suspicious of Tracy’s continued accusations towards him.
Attempting to comfort Cain, John, who is in possession of Nate’s phone, looked at Tracy’s house, saying that the police would soon look elsewhere.
Due to the rescheduling, fans will have to wait an extra day to find out what John plans to do with the phone. Will he frame Tracy for Nate’s death?
