Yellowstone’S Kelly Reilly Blasts ‘Bulls*** And Fakeness’ Of Hollywood Amid Kevin Costner’S Killing Off Drama – Breaking News Updates

Yellowstone star Kelly Reilly has blasted Hollywood’s ‘bulls* amid Kevin Costner’s killing off from the

show.

The British actress, 47, who plays Beth Dutton, the daughter of Costner’s character John Dutton on the

show, told Town & Country that she makes sure to ‘stay out’ of the drama surrounding Yellowstone and

decompress at home with her husband Kyle Baugher.

She said: ‘I don’t participate in the noise in any way. I stay out of it. The only safe place for me is in the work – and then home with my husband. Very boring.

It can become a cyclone of bulls*** and fakeness, and I know I won’t find my worth in that.

Discussing season five part two of Yellowstone – which saw Costner’s Dutton apparently commit suicide in the opening minutes, Reilly said: ‘It really is an ending. So if there is more, it’s a beginning of something else.

‘I loved this season. There were some really different territories to explore, so I’m not clinging to her. I’m happy to put her back in her padlocked box.’

There has been speculation that Reilly and Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) are set for a Yellowstone spin-off – which Reilly won’t close the door on.

She said: ‘I am definitely interested in Beth, and who she is after some things have happened. Who is she in peace? As an actor you’re like, Ooh, let me at that, Wouldn’t it be fun to watch Beth go to therapy?’

The star revealed her road to Yellowstone was sparked when the script ‘pepped’ her interest – before she had a call with show creator Taylor Sheridan, who offered her the role immediately.

Costner abruptly left the show amid rumors of a feud with Sheridan.

Discussing the finale on The Michael Smerconish Program on SiriusXM earlier this month Costner said: ‘Well, I’m going to be perfectly honest. I didn’t know it was actually airing last night.

‘That’s a swear to God moment. I swear to God. I mean, I’ve been seeing ads with my face all over the place and I’m thinking, “Gee, I’m not in that one.”

‘I’m not in this season. But I didn’t realize yesterday was the thing. Somebody said, “It played last night?’ And I said, “Hmm, okay.” So no, I found out about it this morning actually.”

‘I didn’t see it. I heard it’s a suicide, so that doesn’t make me want to rush to go see it.

‘I heard what it was, but no, they’re smart people. Whatever they’re doing, they’ll figure it out. But yeah, I had come up with two possible endings back when it wasn’t going to go as long as it did go.’

When asked how he felt about the suicide he said: ‘I didn’t see it. I heard it’s a suicide. That doesn’t make me wanna rush to go see it.

‘They’re pretty smart people. Maybe it’s a red herring. They’re very good. They’ll figure that out.’

Many fans thought that Dutton committing suicide was completely out of character, though they would come to learn that it was actually a murder simply set up to look like a suicide, which comes after many actors revealing they were kept in the dark about the exit of Kevin Costner’s John Dutton.

Costner made a dramatic exit from the series over scheduling conflicts with his Western movie franchise Horizon, though fans were quite upset at how he was killed off.

Fans took to social media to react en masse to the beloved character’s exit as the neo-Western series comes to a close.

Given how hard John Dutton has fought for everything in his life, fans were furious, insisting he would never have killed himself.

It’s not too surprising that Jamie may be blamed, since the show’s last episode nearly two years ago showed Jamie entertaining various ways to have his father killed with his new romantic interest Sarah Atwood (Dawn Olivieri).

She told Jamie there were companies that specialized in making murders look like accidents or even a heart attack.

However, as the episode continued, it became more clear that Sarah seemingly took matters into her own hands and organized John’s death to simply make it look like a suicide… covering up his actual murder.

@thetvescape said, ‘Wait, so now it’s looking more and more likely that the “suicide” was staged!’
