Yellowstone Spinoff Massive Update Has Long-Time Fans Celebrating – Breaking News Updates

This is the best the show can do without Kevin Costner.

Even though the Internet is still trying to get a full picture of what happened between Taylor Sheridan and Kevin Costner that the only possible decision was for the actor to leave the show, it is time to move on to the next chapter of Yellowstone. Like it or not, the next spinoff of the show will have to adapt its story to Kevin Costner’s absence.

While there are many rumors about what the show will be about and who will be involved in it, there is little to no confirmed information so far. Still, fans of the franchise are grasping at any straws they can find to keep hopes for the show as high as possible.

Will Kelly Reilly Be Back for Yellowstone’s Spinoff?

Saying goodbye to Kevin Costner as the patriarch of the Dutton family won’t be easy, but viewers are counting on all the other characters to make the finale as entertaining and suspenseful as the entire series has been. After all, as much as people loved John Dutton, Kayce, Beth and Jamie are just as important to the plot.

This is also the reason why viewers are so hopeful that all of the Dutton kids, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly and Wes Bentley will be back for the show’s spinoff, which will reportedly pick up where Yellowstone left off and continue the show with a slightly different premise and narrative.

Fortunately for all loyal Yellowstone fans, the good news is in: 3 of the main cast members are closer than ever to signing their contracts. According to the industry newsletter What I’m Hearing, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly and her on-screen husband, Cole Hauser, are all set to finalize their deals and officially join the cast.

So far, this is the first official update on the show. Although there were some very strong rumors about potential series lead Matthew McConaughey and another A-lister, Michelle Pfeiffer, none of them were confirmed by the actors or Taylor Sheridan himself.

The involvement of the third Dutton son, Wes Bentley, has also not been confirmed. The actor has previously stated that he would have been open to a comeback if Taylor Sheridan had a sufficient storyline for the character, but those negotiations are still behind closed doors.

Perhaps the main focus of the crew and cast behind Yellowstone is to finish the original series in the best way possible. Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 is set to air in November 2024, so keep an eye out for any news or behind-the-scenes updates on the series finale.
