Yellowstone star Cole Hauser who plays Rip Wheeler on the popular series leaked an important photo to Instagram on Monday.

The actor said it was from the ‘last day’ on set of the Paramount Network cowboy drama.

‘Just found this picture of all of our last day together on set! @yellowstone,’ wrote Cole in his Instagram caption.

In it he was seen with his hat off as she posed with several costars like Kelly Reilly who plays Beth Dutton, Ryan Bingham who plays Walker, his real-life wife Hassie Harrison who plays Laramie, Forrie J Smith who plays Lloyd Pierce and Jen Landon, the actress behind Teeter, among others.

His Instagram followers loved the image. One even said the leak spoke volumes: ‘Now we know which characters don’t die ❤️.’

Another fan felt this meant Jamie Dutton, played by Wes Bentley, was killed off because he was not in the image: ‘Beth is getting Jamie in the last episode for sure.’

Others begged Hauser to keep the show going for a sixth season.

‘Please let’s keep Yellowstone or its spinoff with this entire cast going…there’s never been a series so uniquely special than this phenomenal creation!!!’ said a follower.

One even predicted the focus will be on the characters played by Cole and Kelly: ‘So when is the spin off coming of Rip & Beth’s new show?’

This fan felt that season six was in the cards: ‘Words cannot express how much i am going to miss this show.. but i do find it funny that the promos are saying ‘season finale’ and not ‘series finale’ — it has me saying ‘hmmm what are they not telling us.”

Another follower was confident the show would go on: ‘Boy y’all were missed!!! PLEASE don’t make us wait too long for season 6!!! One more episode left in season 5!!!’

Cole’s image, however, does not seem to be from the last episode.

One clue is that Beth wore that outfit – a black-and-white shirt and denim skirt – on season 5, episode 12.

They likely shot the end of season 5 out of order, which often happens.

Unless her character wears the same outfit over again, which does not seem to happen on the show.

The finale of Yellowstone – which is episode 14 – will air on December 15.

This comes after Reilly said she is ‘very introverted’.

The 47-year-old actress plays Beth Dutton in Yellowstone, and Kelly has admitted to being very different to her on-screen character.

She told the BBC: ‘I’m very introverted. I don’t have any dreams of vengeance in my life.

‘There’s something really exciting about playing her. I feel like I’m on an adrenaline rush for four months while I play her, and when I’m finished I’m like, I now have to go back to my quiet, boring life. And I’m very grateful for my quiet, boring life after I’ve played her.

‘But by the time every summer comes around where I’m sort of gearing up again and the scripts start coming in, I get excited again to meet her.

‘I’m very aware of the gift of her as a character, but I lock her up in a padlocked box for six months of the year.’

Kelly’s on-screen character has developed a big fan following, and the actress feels she’s ‘penetrated a zeitgeist in women specifically’.

Kelly explained: ‘I think it is that unencumbered kind of freedom that she moves through the world with. She is not afraid of dying, she is not afraid of losing.

‘There is a scene in season two where she is being attacked by a man who is in the process of raping her and is about to kill her and she is covered in blood.

‘She will not be a victim to him. And I think for women and for me, I love that. She is fierce.’

Despite this, Kelly doesn’t know what a happening ending would look like for Beth.

She said: ‘I would like something cathartic, potentially. I would hate to leave her out in the wilderness. But I don’t know if happiness is something any of these characters strive for.

‘They strive to protect, they strive to kill, they strive to be killed. These are not looking for peaceful lives.’
