Yellowstone Actor Who Plays ‘Stupid’ Jimmy Has Already Worked With Anne Hathaway And Is Married To A Hot Blonde – Breaking News Updates

Jefferson White seemed like a newcomer when he started playing dimwitted but endearing drug addict Jimmy Hurdstrom on Yellowstone.

He won points when he got his act together, learned how to ride a horse, and headed to the 6666 ranch in Texas.

But the actor is far from stupid in real life. In fact, he already has an impressive resume that includes a massive medical series and a hot actress wife.

He had a small role on the Keri Russell Russian spy series The Americans, which was his first acting gig.

And he had a part in the Anne Hathaway movie Eileen.

The Iowa native was also on the TV series Chicago PD and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

White is also married to a hot blonde beauty who is also an actress who was on FBI: Most Wanted.

White made his television debut on The Americans in 2014.

Other television appearances include Elementary, Blue Bloods, How to Get Away with Murder and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

In 2018, White appeared as a series regular on season one of Yellowstone for Paramount+, and his character, a troubled cowboy called Jimmy.

And he was in the last part of Yellowstone too, season 5B.

It is believed he will be in the Yellowstone spin-off series titled 6666 as his character Jimmy moved to the 6666 Ranch in Texas during season 4 of Yellowstone.

He made quite an impression on Yellowstone.

In 2021, White was named as a nominee for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for his work on Yellowstone.

In September 2022, White portrayed the character Sean O’Neil in the tenth season of NBC’s long-running drama Chicago P.D.

White has roles in the 2023 feature film Eileen, which stars Anne Hathaway, and the 2024 Alex Garland film Civil War.

White grew up in Mount Vernon, Iowa and attended Iowa State University, graduating in 2012 in performing arts.

White is married to Casey Wortmann, an actress and social worker.

Wortmann is known for FBI: Most Wanted (2020), The Equalizer (2021) and Caravan.

This comes after Luke Grimes said Yellowstone was easier to work on after Kevin Costner left.

The 40-year-old actor – who plays Kayce Dutton, the son of Costner’s John Dutton III in the Paramount drama series – admitted that there was less ‘conflict’ after Costner’s character was killed off in the final season.

He told Esquire: ‘Hopefully everyone can see that it was time. To be really honest, there was a part of Kevin being gone that meant some of the conflict was gone. Obviously, it didn’t make it super fun to be around. Not pointing any fingers, but it was actually the easiest season we’ve filmed.’

And, Grimes believes it was time for ‘Yellowstone’ to end after five seasons.

He said: ‘It feels like good timing. Seven years is a long time to do anything, and I had never played a character for more than a few months before. I’ve loved all of it.’

‘But there is a part of it that — once you read those final episodes — sees that there’s a finality to it. There’s always talks of spin-offs.

‘I’d do it [but] I just don’t understand how it would work once the story ends. Kayce wants to cowboy and be happy with his family. He doesn’t want to kill people anymore. He doesn’t want the weight of a huge mega ranch that isn’t sustainable in today’s times. He wants his little slice of heaven. It’s that simple.’

There was reportedly tension between Costner and series creator Taylor Sheridan before Costner’s departure.

Kevin previously told Deadline: ‘I don’t want to get down in the gutter with the ‘Yellowstone’ thing but what I’m telling you is straight up. I have taken a beating from those guys and I know a lot of times where it’s coming from. I just elected not to get into that.

‘I made ‘Yellowstone’ the first priority, and to insinuate anything else would be wrong.’
