Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, July 10 suggest that the battle between Xander and Philip is far from over, as the two foes nearly come to blows… yet again.

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) tried to trick Xander (Paul Telfer) into confessing that he’s the one who beat Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) into a coma. Xander figured it out pretty quickly and stormed out of the restaurant, mumbling about sole custody of Victoria.

But did he head home to continue putting the finishing touches on his Father of the Year act? Nope. As soon as he could, Xander was back in Philip’s face. These two never learn, do they?

Give and Take

Johnny (Carson Boatman) insists he didn’t shoot his father, and Chanel (Raven Bowens) believes him. She keeps telling him she believes him. She keeps telling him so often that we have to wonder: Who is she really trying to convince, Johnny… or herself?

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), for his part, says that he believes Johnny, too. And he’ll even defend him in court over it.

But EJ has other problems. Tony (Thaao Penghlis) is back in Salem, and he doesn’t like how EJ is running their father’s company. He warns Elvis Jr. that Tony may just have to take over. Unless….

Truth or Dare

With both EJ and Johnny insisting that the son didn’t shoot the father, Jada (Elia Cantu) and Belle (Martha Madison) are almost forced to do their jobs and figure out who did. They could do some detective work. Or they could continue to make wild guesses and then see which pieces of evidence fit into their theory.

And Who Shot EJ isn’t even the only crime on their plates. There’s also Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) stolen necklace. So when the two make a shocking discovery, we can only guess at what secrets they’ll discover now.
