AN EastEnders legend has revealed she managed to lose five stone thanks to a gastric sleeve operation.
Lorraine Stanley, who played Karen Taylor in the BBC One soap, has been flaunting her very slimmed-down figure over the past 12 months following her soap exit.

The acclaimed actress looks more in-shape than ever and wowed fans with her glam transformation.
Amid speculation over her weight loss, Lorraine has admitted it was not down to popular jabs like Ozempic, which have become a common way to shed weight quickly.
Instead, Lorraine opted for the more traditional gastric sleeve operation.
After showing off her trim figure once again in a dancing TikTok video, Lorraine was met with a slew of compliments over her new figure.
One inquisitive fan asked for Lorraine’s secret, to which she simply answered back in the comments: “Gastric sleeve.”
A gastric sleeve is a weight loss procedure that removes a significant portion of the stomach, creating a smaller, sleeve-shaped pouch.
Up until now, Lorraine had remained coy on how she managed to achieve her newly toned figure.
Earlier this month, she was seen flaunting her slimmer waist as she cheered on pals at the London Marathon.
She first shocked followers with before and after photos after she managed to lost five stone in just one year.
Speaking at the time, she said: “What a difference a year makes.

Lorraine was written out of Eastenders in 2023 after seven years on the show.
Her axing was part of a shock cast shake-up with her final scenes aired in December of that year.
She reprised her role a couple of times in 2024 with her last episode hitting the screens in June.
Lorraine exclusively told The Sun last year: “At the moment I wouldn’t go back, I’m happy doing what I’m doing.
“They’ve left the door open, so never say never.”
Her latest acting role is the LGBTQ+ movie Departures which tells the story of a toxic relationship between two men – Benji and Jake – the latter played by former Hollyoaks hunk David Tag.
Lorraine has taken on the part of Janet in the flick which comes complete with countless raunchy scenes.
Viewers of the movie will see the characters of Benji and Jake get down and dirty in a slew of eye-popping sex scenes.
